The steaks were cooked lovely, although marked as a 4 because the sirloins did have quite large amount of fat on them. I had the ribeye and it was great. There were copious amount of vegetables with the Sunday roast that would full even the most hungry diner up. The waitresses were superb and a credit to Porters Steakhouse.

First time here. We purposely came for the roast and it was lovely. Will be returning. Great food & service.

A very strange evening indeed. We were waited on by a lovely lad (Jack or Jake) who we couldn’t fault. However the very rude argumentative guy who brought our food out unfortunately ruined what was a nice evening. The guy was so strange, he was egging for an argument it was a very strange situation in which left our table feeling very odd. The guy was almost angry at the fact we were sat at a certain table he moaned he can’t pass food round “this” table. We laughed it off and passed plates around for him . A joke was made about having longer arms to which he got very angry and was saying things like “tell me how I could have longer arms” in a really aggressive way. He said my friend looked like inspector gadget it was just so uncomfortable for us all. He wouldn’t let it drop and kept repeating himself in such an angry manner we thought he was going to punch someone. Not what you expect at a table with your meal. Totally ruined the experience and our evening. Do not come here!!! Manger came over to speak to me however she was around 18 herself and just didn’t care.

Lovely food lovely staff. Service was very slow My partner and I were out for date night Due to service being slow we ended up drinking more. Which was not ideal.

Amazing food, must have the 8oz filet! Cooked to perfection amazing blue cheese sauce to go with. Staff really attentive and friendly. Cocktails also very good.

First time at Porters , was special occasion for OH birthday , did not disappoint , lovely table , waiter was very good & the apprentice who was learning , food was fantastic , we all had a fabulous time and will definitely be back soon

Amazing food, and second to none service. Would recommend for any occasion that requires somewhere with a high standard.

Coming from a hospitality background I know how stressful a Saturday night rush can be but as there was only 5 tables in our section I don’t believe the service was up to scratch. We waited 30 minutes to be seen by a waiter and when we received our food (burgers) they were both cold. Me and my partner were both hungry as it was around 9:40 when we received our food (we sat down at 8:40) so we did eat the food infront of us. The mushrooms also were not garlicky and the chips were soggy. Pretty poor effort for a place with a high price point. We wouldn’t return to this restaurant unfortunately .

Great food with excellent service…. Wine by ‘corovine’ is expensive but main wine list good.
