   Porzia impresses on every level. The ricotta gnocchi with maitake and honey mushrooms is rich, earthy, and melts in your mouth. The lasagne bolognese is a standout—deeply savory, perfectly layered, and full of comfort. And don’t skip dessert—the tiramisu soft serve is a fun, creamy twist on the classic, with just the right espresso kick. The service is warm and attentive. Reservations are tough, but absolutely worth the effort.

   Excellent homemade pasta. Recommended the ravioli delicious. Caesar salad different and delicious, same with tiramisu. Lots of fresh sliced Parmesan cheese on salad and pasta. Found wine prices for a bottle very high. Went for a glass of Niagara Gamay instead- $18 for 6 oz. Nice atmosphere and close to home.

   While the food was delicious, the table next to us was so incredibly loud that my partner and I could not maintain a conversation. They were not told to quiet down. Very small space, felt a bit crammed in.

    Not hard to get free parking in the Oakwood/Rodgers Road neighbourhood. A small, well-patronized restaurant so make reservation well in advance. Make sure to read their rules in Open Table about cancellations, length of dining times separating first and second sitting, ect., just to avoid any misunderstandings. ( Having worked in several dining establishments when I was younger and a lot poorer, I honour their right to eke out a precarious living. Therefore, I arrived five minutes early for my reservation, which happened to be the first sitting of the night and ate a wonderful meal, but was happily on my way out the door before the restaurant's suggested departure time. I expect most other diners would want to be on the side of whatever helps these small jewels culinary jewels to keep twinkling in the night. By the way, for a congenial ambience, cheerful service, and a meal of two appetizers, two mains, including their famous lasagna, a dessert of a memorable cheesecake, and three glasses of wine, all for $186.45 including tax....well, I thought that was a delightful and not particularly expensive way to celebrate my wife's birthday. So, no complaints! and best wishes for your own dining experience.
