   If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Posa Ristorante & Vineria is simply the best restaurant in the U.S. I have never found another place that comes close to the excellence they deliver—it’s truly a must-go! From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to an atmosphere of warmth, passion, and authenticity. But the real magic? It’s in the food. Every dish is crafted with the utmost attention to detail, and the flavors are nothing short of spectacular. The absolute highlight for me is the lasagna—a masterpiece that instantly takes me to Positano, Italy, one of the most breathtaking places on earth. The richness, the layers, the delicate balance of flavors—it’s pure perfection and a love letter to true Italian cuisine. What makes the experience even more extraordinary is Chef Massimo and his incredible team. His passion, expertise, and warm hospitality elevate the restaurant to another level. You can taste the dedication in every bite, and his presence adds a personal touch that makes you feel like family. If you haven’t been to Posa yet, you are missing out on one of the finest culinary experiences in the country.    This is a gem in Ridgefield! We’ve been multiple times and have never been disappointed. The service is extremely attentive without being intrusive and the food is always excellent. We had cacio e pepe and the shrimp ravioli which were both served hot and were delicious. I can’t say enough about how good this restaurant is! Bravo!!

   Posa is certainly a diamond in the rough. It is tucked away behind a strip mall and looks so pretty as you come upon the entrance. Inside it is warm and inviting. We went on a Monday evening, and never expected it to be busy, but it was. As more and more people came in, the noisier it became. Thankfully, the host was gracious and methodical is seating customers, so we never had anyone right on top of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. They make their own pasta every morning, so it is obvious a lot of effort goes into each plated dish. The wine list is amazing, with bottles from many different regions ranging from $50 to $1700. The service left a bit to be desired - I believe they were understaffed, perhaps not planning for many customers. Our waiter, although nice as can be, was a little confused about our order and we had to wait quite a while for our drink order to be taken. All that said, we will definitely go back and recommend to others because the food was THAT good. And I am confident their service will improve.

   I kinda got the feeling they don’t love the gays. Last night was Valentine’s Day and every couple received roses at the end of their meal, but all we got was slow and inattentive service. Sad:( The food and cocktails were pretty good, but not worth the wait.

   After almost 1.75 hours, we still had *no food* and had to leave for an event. We had 6pm reservations for 4, arrived at 5:45 and, after several wait staff saying our simple order was "in the window" for about 30 minutes, we had to leave. Granted, they didn't charge us for the drinks and 2 salads--but neither did they apologize or admit to what happened. A shame as the food might have been good--we went hungry and had dinner at home when we returned at about midnight. The worst dinner experience is a VERY long time. Certainly NOT willing to try this restaurant again.

    Amazing from first bite to last! Food was superb, so many tastes bursting through. Best lasagna outside of home! Delicious drink specials. A wonderful evening!
