An AA Rosette restaurant for Culinary Excellence.
Founder and executive chef Marco Greco takes inspiration from his family's heritage in southern Italy, serving homemade pasta using ingredients sourced from the Calabrese region. Pranzo Italian use's fresh ingredients and imported wines to create an authentic experience alongside well trained staff. Located on cold bath road in Harrogate, a mere 5 minutes walk from the centre of Harrogate.

I booked my table using 11 days in advance of my booking. The restaurant insisted on taking my card details in advance and promised to charge me a fee if I didn’t keep the booking. 2 days in advance of the booking, which I did. 1 day before the booking, the restaurant called me to tell me they double booked the table. So we were left without a booking for a wedding anniversary. I understand things happen, but the restaurant was so pushy on their side (taking card details, re-confirmation requests) that I found it odd they did nothing. A small gesture such as a free drink or a half price meal would have made me consider them in future but there was barely an apology. For what it’s worth, we had a lovely meal in the Italian Connection—I recommend booking there instead.

Excellent food. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you are in Harrogate and fancy some good Italian food.

It was a very busy Saturday but that really didn't matter to the staff. They were cheerful yet professional and dealt with a restaurant that was full - they delivered on food, drinks and service. There were lots of walk-ins that were offered outdoor space or a table at the bar. And in some cases as soon as a table became available indoors they swiftly moved the outside folk who preferred to by indoors to a seat. Can't really fault this place no matter how hard I try
