Don’t waste your time with Prime Steak & Seafood unless you want to pay top dollar for awful service and burnt food. Went last night for Valentine’s Day dinner. We ordered the Tuna Corn with the candied jalapeños on the side (my wife can’t eat jalapeño’s). After waiting 25 minutes it finally came - with jalapeños. We decided to pick the jalapeños out because we didn’t want to wait another 25 minutes for our food. While waiting for our entree, our server was very inattentive. He made sure to take care of the table right next to us, but any time we needed a refill of water or drinks, he was nowhere to be found. We finally received our entrees. She ordered the beef Wellington. Very flaky. Kept falling apart. I ordered the octopus. Burnt to the point to where I had a coughing fit after my very first bite. They also charged me $6 for ice. $6 for ICE… I’ve never been charged for ice at a restaurant in my life. What kind of place is this? Spent 2 1/2 hours and $300+ on the worst experience I’ve had. Go to SALT. This place is 💩

Our waitress was very cold and rude while serving us. She would give my girlfriend a lot of cold looks during our visit. She was fast serving other tables, but took her sweet time doing hours. Food was amazing, but the service was lacking. I would go again, but definitely would get a different server!

Love going to Prime. Had a wonderful evening. Paola is the best waitress. Food was delicious. Best steaks in the RGV

They were very disorganized and were out of a lot of food and it was 7:30. I had to change my drink order twice because they were out. Our server left at mid shift and the replacement server did not care about the table. Food was cold. We were there to celebrate a birthday but left early to celebrate elsewhere.

The hostess was not very welcoming at all, the drink order was extremely slow, the appetizer was sent but no utensils. But the main course was absolutely delicious and made up for the rest. The dessert was plated very beautifully and sealed the deal.

Great service and delish food! The lobster pasta bake was enough for two and the shrimp Bisque with the vol au vent pastry dome was a great presentation.

Birthday dinner with my family ruined!! Absolute worst experience in my entire life at Prime Steakhouse. Super embarrassing and uncomfortable. We went through 3 waiters. First one refused to wait on us because my parents spoke Spanish, second one tried to convince us that Dos Equis needed to be ordered as “Two Ex” beer and then when my steak was dry and overcooked the owner came to tell us “fine steak is supposed to be dry”. Certainly one for the books. Never again. #banningprimesteakhouse
