I got the ribeye and my fiancé got the chicken Parm. Both were incredible. The drinks were really good as well. We shared the tiramisu and it was one of the best desserts we’ve ever had while eating out. Service was pretty great too, they weren’t hovering, but they were there almost immediately anytime we actually needed them. A tad expensive but we both agreed it was well worth it afterwards, and that we’ll definitely be back.

First time at Primo. Very historic. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The appetizer of calamari was the best I have ever had. The tomato sauce was bright and full of flavor and the calamari was tender and tasty. My filet was perfectly cooked and very tender. I felt I should have gotten some sauce as it seemed just a little dry (I usually have my filet with lots of melted butter). My husband said his ribeye was over-seasoned. His loaded baked potato was dry and looked old. Mine was better, but again I thought it needed lots more butter. The Rebel Cabernet was very good, especially with the filet. I give it 7 out of 10 and would be happy to return.

Service is what really brought this whole visit down! It was our first time here and wanted to try a local steakhouse. We dined early, maybe 4 small tables total when we sat down and it took forever for someone to greet us let alone get our drink orders and brought to us. I’m incredibly patient as I work in the industry but from start to finish, I felt this was the worse service we had ever had and almost felt like we were just forgotten or not cared about. Once we ordered after a long wait, nobody came back to check on us until we were close to finished with our meals and we decided to order a second cocktail and pop refill and waited forever and we never received either even after asking about it and asking for the check. Food was good though so that’s the only thing that would bring me back in the future. I would sit at the bar for my next visit which isn’t always possible. This place definitely needs to correct the service issue if they want repeat customers.

The ambiance was lovely - our table for 6 was perfect. The service was excellent. Our steaks were cooked to perfection! Try the lobster add on - and the primo potatoes. Nelson is a gracious host- he’s passionate about his restaurant and about the food. The cocktails and wine were also spot on. It’s a short drive from Dayton - and so worth it!

Food was great, steaks could have been warmer, but they were delicious with just the right amount of char and cooked to medium perfectly. Wasn’t able to modify my salad but that was ok, maybe that’s just a training issue with server, as anything should be “allowed” with up charge. Wine selection was great, and featured cocktail was perfect. Ambiance was very nice and we were not rushed. Overall really nice experience

What a delightful hidden gem! I don’t know what I love more- the ambiance or the food! Definitely will be back!

It was amazing as a date spot, we’re young and it’s sweet and kinda like a hole in the wall almost but it’s an amazing atmosphere and food omg the food was phenomenal absolutely will be returning and suggesting to others

We had a wonderful experience at Primo. Drinks were tasty, the food was delicious and the service was top notch! The assistant manager, Drew, was attentive and knowledgeable on so many levels.

My husband and I have dined here before and it was wonderful. This time, however, was not as pleasant. There was one waitress for all the tables, she took the orders, there were 2-3 people who bussed tables and refilled drinks for all the tables, the menu has changed and when we asked why the waitress said because of the location of the restaurant they needed to make it more casual. The quality of food was not the same, for instance their noodles for the bolognese are no longer homemade they are boxed. Their steaks were cut from a tenderloin and very chewy. Overall a little disappointing considering what the restaurant use to be.
