Chateau Briand for 2 served with bearnaise sauce , roasted tomatoes and mushroom & chips
Herb crusted halibut fillet , parmesan polenta, samphire and dill cream sauce
Caprese stuffed chicken breast served with dauphinoise potatoes, baby vegetables and red wine jus
Chicken breast stuffed with tomato and mozzarella, wrapped in parma ham

Looking forward to a lovely lunch with friends we were left quite underwhelmed Only 1 menu between 4 of us, choice of chicken (which was very dry) or beef which was ok. Veg, roasties and Yorkies all overdone. First in the restaurant, seated at 12:30, served at 1:15. No option to have just main course (we wanted to go into town for dessert), pineapple pudding rather nice as was poached pear, cheesecake tasteless. Staff pleasant but service extremely slow, especially while there were only 3 other tables beside ours.

We were the last guests on 31st and they threatened us we kindness and patience till the end, the service was fenomenal

we had a lovely afternoon, our waiter was lovely, the food was lush and if i had to say anything bad i would say the tea was a bit bland, but everything else made up for it.

I booked afternoon tea as a birthday treat for my daughter. We loved the setting and atmosphere of The Priory and were greeted warmly. I loved that we were introduced to the staff individually because it made us feel most welcome. The Presecco, the food and the tea was delicious and very nicely presented and service was good too. I would love to say everything was perfect but if I could make this observation it is a request for at least two more little sandwiches just to balance all the sweet things with savoury. But thank you . We had a lovely time.

The restaurant was very much empty, hence we got undivided attention from the staff. The food was good. The steak could have been better! The ambience and decors was great and the staff serving us was very friendly and took care of all of us.

9 widows & 1 widower all met for Afternoon Tea. What a lovely experience. Food was good & place was lovely. Parking excellent. Will definitely return. Only comment would be. . .. scones could be better

Our server was so attentive and lovely - really made my mums birthday ! The afternoon tea spread was lovely and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves . Thank you !

On arrival to the hotel there was no one on reception and after waiting for a few minutes I had to wonder around the place to find someone to help us. In general the food was ok, however the scones were disappointing very dry and when you cut into them they crumbled to pieces. Whilst the waiter was accommodating at times there were two of three members of staff standing round the bar area having conversations which could be heard over our conversations. For example one was telling another his duties for the day which when you are trying to have a relaxing afternoon tea was a bit distracting.
