    The large room to the left of the entrance was extremely sunny. Half of the diners (of 9) had to wear sunglasses throughout our time there. This needs to be addressed as it was very uncomfortable for those facing the sun. In summer, it becomes very very warm. Consider some sort of window coverings. Over all, our meals were outstanding. Everyone enjoyed their choice. Our waitress was a bit slow, and the promised bread never arrived, while we waited quite a while for our meals. Then one of our party went to remind the waitress about the bread, but it arrived just as our meals were being served. And there was no dipping oil available today. Today was a pointed example of how important a server is to the enjoyment of a meal. Sadly, our favorite server was not available. He was sorely missed! Over all, the food here never disappoints!

    Always an excellent experience at POB!! My go-to spot for the Black and Bleu Martini with oysters! Service was great also.

    One of the reasons for our visit was that I heard you had Florida Stone Crabs. They were not on the menu so I asked the waitress. She said they were sold by the pound. Later I asked again and she said there were three to five claws in a one pound order. She never mentioned the cost. When I received the final bill I was charged $87.50 for one pound of crab claws. With the 20% tip that means I paid over $100 for five claws - $20 for each claw. I would never have ordered the claws at that price. I would have ordered the baked stuff lobster for far less money. Very disappointed during my first visit!!

    Open Table confirmed buck-a-shuck when I made the reservations, this isn’t true on holidays apparently, which was the only reason we went. Food is fine but overpriced for what it is, and forced valet parking in a lot that is 20 ft from front door is a joke.

    We went Christmas eve day at 3pm for happy hour. Reservations at bar, ordered cocktails, then put order for oysters and clams., prior to ordering dinner. We were informed that due to being a holiday, there was no buck a shuck. Christmas eve day is not a holiday, onsite it advertised exclude holidays. In any event, server was amazing, food was good, just feel wording was misleading. I called and spoke to manager a few days later. Was informed "everyone in RI treats Christmas Eve as a holiday", I don't think so. Went on to inform me "it's a very busy time and the kitchen would not be able to handle orders" At 3 pm a few hi-tops and 6 others at bar, not busy at that time. Hopefully wording on site will be more accurate.

    Everything was outstanding. The drinks, food and service is always the best. The manager checked in with us also which is a great attention to details.
