   Anniversary meal after date. Great food, superb drinks, nice ambience, quiet and comfy.

   We went to Provision based on an Eater guide of Calgary's must eat restaurants - perhaps I was reading an old guide, however this meal was over very disappointing. It was a snowy night in Calgary and arriving up to this cute building in the park with cozy warm lighting on the exterior seemed promising from behind however upon arrival the space was too bright and lacked any sort of comfortable atmosphere. Our service was mediocre at best. We had the cheese plate, beet salad, steak and gnocchi and every dish was under seasoned. Bland. Boring. Overpriced. They have fairly expensive bottles of wine of their wine list which are all served in stemless wine glasses. I would suggest saving your money and going elsewhere.

   Great location, was able to change real, Staff were great, food was delicious!!! Cozy place, great for date night!

   I have been to Provision many time and especially in the summertime . I recently tried in the colder season and will say the ambience is excellent and is very cozy inside with the nice wood interior ceiling plus the glitter of the Memorial Park trees looking outside . We had a nice get together with friends and found our dining experience most enjoyable . Will definitely make another visit before the year end . Thank you !

   Nice place but eh food was not good. Gnocchi was bland with no sauce even though it said bechemel sauce. The pork belly was chewy in a bed of greasy, undercooked cabbage chunks. The flatiron steak was rare and had to be sent back. On top of it all our waitress was rude and dismissive of us until it came time for the tip. Then her personality came out. We will not be returning here.

   We had read about Provision from a Calgary top 20 restaurant article, looking forward to a new restaurant to add to our list of "future go to places" we made a reservation. Upon arrival we were taken to our table near the door even though the majority of the restaurant was open. We ordered some appetizers and our main course meals, both the appetizers and the meals arrived in a timely manners but all were very disappointing. Meals were not all hot, some over cooked and the overall presentation was very disappointing. Based on some of the other top trending restaurants we have been to lately like "Ten Foot Henry" I would suggest trying other restaurants first.

   Saw this restaurant in the park on a visit to nearby Memorial Library, was intrigued and went to try it out with a friend for a meal before a concert at Palace Theatre. Nearby street parking and comfortable walking distances to and from the theatre. Loved the cozy, open concept small restaurant ambience. You can see the chefs at work or look out at the park. Food was outstanding. My friend and I shared the root vegetable salad, the squash risotto and the fish special. All absolutely delicious. And our wine choice available in a half-carafe was perfect. Will definitely be coming back.

    We went to Provision for my fiancé’s birthday. The food, wine, atmosphere, service was all incredible. We will definitely be returning.
