Not the experience I planned for my friends and I. After having visited there a couple years ago I told the story of how you need a password and then they let you in a secret wall door. Upon arrival the front desk had been moved, the guy at the desk informed us we had to take the elevator that the stairway was locked. When I ordered my drink once downstairs I specifically asked for a short glass. When I received my drink in a tall glass I stated that was not what I ordered. They then took my drink and dumped it into a short and brought it back. The server never came back to check on us until we were about to leave. When leaving we get up to the desk level and notice the valet is escorting people down the very stairway we had asked to do upon our arrival. When we confronted the guy at the desk he remained silent and would not even make eye contact when we asked. We then spoke to the valets who were more than happy to chat. They said the guys at the front did not want to walk over and let us in. That is why he told us to ride the elevator. VERY disappointed in this service so they got 3 out of 5. There is room for improvement. PS1931 is a cool place, but they need to remember that people go there for the experience and to have that you must provide EXCELLENT service.

We enjoyed our drinks. The service was prompt and the atmosphere was cozy. We would definitely go again.

Very loud for a speakeasy. Only 2 servers for the place so service was slow. Got seated at a table on the wall that the chairs were separated with the table between, so it was hard to converse without yelling across the table. Wouldn’t recommend as a speakeasy… mediocre at best. Probably won’t return.

This is a gem of a place, if you like speakeasies. It is dark, moody, and secretive. If there are a lot of people, expect it to be loud. We were next to a large group that were quite loud, once they left, it was very pleasant. Briana was our server, along with another nice lady (didn't get her name). Both were wonderful and very accommodating. We had a handicap person with us and although the lift wasn't working, they did everything they could to help and make your experience enjoyable. Highly recommend as a place to stop for a drink and a cool speakeasy experience.

I was entirely disappointed in PS. I made a reservation for 9pm and arrived on time. The hostess allowed us to select our seats from a very limited set of options, essentially 1 of 3 booths, or small table and chairs near other groups. The drinks were average. The service was terrible. The waitress stopped by the table several times for 2-3 quick seconds and it felt like she checked in on us while continuing to walk past the table. A very loud and rambunctious bridal party arrived and overwhelmed the entire space with their voices and cackling. Literally deafening. The music was a bit too loud considering it should invite conversation. Within a handful of minutes I could barely hear my partner over the music and loud group as we sat right next to eachother. The vibe was terrible, the drinks just ok but overpriced, and the service was so far below par it does not register. We will not return.
