Puesto is family-owned and operated by first generation Mexican American brothers Eric, Alan and Alex Adler, alongside their cousins Isidoro and Moy Lombrozo and founding chef and partner Luisteen Gonzalez. With eight locations in California, Puesto provides an innovative and contemporary approach to authentic Mexican cuisine. Sourcing its ingredients locally and regionally, the restaurant has earned national acclaim for its Mexico City-inspired tacos made with non-GMO organic, heirloom Masienda blue corn stone-ground tortillas, crispy melted cheese and scratch salsas.

Overall didn’t like it and wouldn’t go back or recommend to friends, it was a $300 spent for a less than ok food. We ordered Shrimp plancha, shrimp tamarindo taco, crab & shrimp flautas, filet mignon taco, short rib enchiladas, chips and guacamole, margaritas and three leches cake. Shrimp plancha $40 plate for 9 pieces of shrimp. The taste was all right ( not something I would go back for) Shrimp taco was all right ($11, worth to try) Crab and shrimp flauta you can barely taste the crab and shrimp in there (I wouldn’t recommend it at all $30) Short rib enchiladas were pretty good, it’s a very strong taste and super spicy (I recommend) Filet mignon tacos, super salty and didn’t taste like filet mignon, tasted like rib eye Guac and chips were pretty good Margaritas were all right ($20) Três peches cake was delicious!!! I would totally recommend it. ($9)

Made a reservation for a standard table, but was given a two seater high top. When I mentioned the difference, I was told I could wait longer for a standard table. Our server never checked on us after we ordered, (except bringing us the extra salsa that we always get when we order chips and salsa). The host who sat us noticed and asked if we needed more drinks. Despite saying, yes, they never came. When our server finally came over to give us our check, we had to make sure that we were not charged for them. Again, the hostess never greets people or thanks them when they are leaving Love the tacos but at $15-17 each, I expect better service. Management should understand that if they don’t have the server capacity to fill the place, then they shouldn’t.

My wife and I have made it a weekly date night at Puesto. Tacos are really good for taco Tuesday.

The food was unique and outstanding. A server overheard that it was our anniversary and they covered out deliciousdessert. It was so nice inside. I had never been before. I will definitely come back again.

Food was good and drinks were great. I wish I knew the bar back’s name that assisted at the bar where we sat. He was very helpful and attentive to my wife and I throughout our visit. The Cadillac Margarita was good, however I think it’s a little over priced. That would be my only issue.

I have been here several times, and I am always impressed by the great service and the delicious flavors of the tacos. Thank you manager Tomas, and staff, for always taking such great care of your customers.
