Punta Corcho takes its name from the old title of what we now know as Puerto Morelos, in the Riviera Maya. Founded in 2015 by chef Daniel Ovadía, it became his first project in the region, bringing a passion for fresh and creative cuisine that pays homage to the culinary richness of the Caribbean.
The menu offers a vibrant reinterpretation of seafood flavors, highlighted by the use of artisanal methods that add a unique smoky touch to each dish. Hice reservaciones para el 25/12/2024 a las 14:00, venimos de otra ciudad y al llegar me comentaron de que el restaurant estaba cerrado hasta las 18:00 horas !!! QUE DECEPCIÓN !!! y falta de respeto. Ojalá no sea que desde que Michelin les dio un bib Michelin, estén descuidando a sus comensales.’’

Comida buena pero no excelente. La comida estaba tibia cuando llego. No dijimos nada porque se tardo en llegar la comida. Juan muy bien pero el servicio lento (estaba muy lleno) . Las mesas están demasiado pegadascy casi no te puedes mover. En general bien pero esperaba más.

This is a very good restaurant employing significant skill in the kitchen. It was relatively expensive, comparable to Los Angeles prices. We enjoyed our meal and hanging out in their eclectic upstairs dining room. My companion raved about the soft shell crab tacos and would return just for those. We both had red snapper over crisped onions with sweet potato cake. Quite good but not Michelin good! Fresh large prawns butterflied and served with hollandaise was a large appetizer served over a crispy seaweed like greens was special. Given limited choices in Puerto Morales, this is a solid choice for a foodie.
