   We had an early dinner, 5:30. This allowed for a quieter meal and absolutely no rush as my wife and I celebrated her birthday. The service was top notch with plenty of time and suggestions for our choices. The food was superb and we will certainly dine at Purlieu again.

   This restaurant truly is a hidden gem! A gorgeous, intimate venue with absolutely incredible food and outstanding service. My hubby and I were here for his birthday and we adored it, will definitely be visiting again and recommending to friends. Thank you Purlieu for a truly lovely evening!

   Food was outstanding and the service by Sam was excellent and very friendly! This is nice little hidden gem in the SW! Highly recommend.

   A hidden gem in the SW....food has always been wonderful. Perhaps time to change the menu, but keep some of the favourites! Great restaurant

   We love the small vibe of this restaurant, you feel like you are in someone's home. The service was great and the wine we choose was a win. There was 4 of us and we ordered 2 starters and 4 mains. The starters were calamari and beef Tartare bo, the both were good, matter of fact the calamari was exceptional. The steak and frites was pretty good, a very simple presentation. The boulliabaisse was fantastic, I would go back just for that. One person ordered a pasta dish and they enjoyed their dish. The weakest dish was the veal cutlet, it was honestly a dissapointment. The veal seemed almost chopped and formed and deep fried. So all in all I wouod go back but skip the veal.

    Booked a reservation to take my girlfriend out for valentine’s day and found that purlieu was the perfect place to have a romantic dinner and celebrate the day of love!!
