    To start with the positive, our waitress was ok. She seemed quite busy with a large amount of tables to cover so it felt a bit rushed whenever we had her attention, but she did ok nonetheless. The manager could not be bothered to get to our table to help her when we asked our back server to call him to get us a bottle of wine, as he was chilling against the wall, too busy not getting active. The atmosphere is forgettable, seems to be the case in every quality eats establishments. The food was mostly disappointing. Its ok. Not great. Not terrible. Aioli way too thick to be served with artichoke. Crab cake was pretty good. Scallops were really not great at all. They are obviously trying something different with it but it's not it. The sole was overcooked and the quality of the fish not the best. Usually not leaving reviews but this was pretentious pricing for the overall quality. They are obviously doing volume, which is great for them, but volume with high end prices are two difficult things to combine, and they can't do it properly. Not enough staff, not enough care on the plates. With appropriate pricing, the offer would be more sensible and expectations would match with the delivery.

    Quality Bistro had a chic ambiance and the staff were kind and prompt. The menu had a decently sized selection of different kinds of foods/flavors. This restaurant would be great for a full sit-down meal, drinks and small bites, or even just to get a quick drink at the bar. The bar area also had a nice environment and beautiful decor. The French onion soup was the star, for sure! I would come back again.

    Honestly one of my fave (or maybe #1 fave??) NYC restaurants ever. Lived here for 16 years, and there’s no place that is as “fancy” yet “doable for a special occasion”. Our waiter Monty (????) was THE BEST!!!

    This is my 2nd time coming here. 10/10 the food is amazing, the service is great. This is my first time getting a drink at the bar when waiting for everyone in my party. It was a great bar area and place to catch up. Can’t wait to come back!
