Quality Foods Market offers a unique culinary experience, featuring authentic Italian cuisine, in a relaxed, elevated casual, and intimate atmosphere. Enjoy a seasonally changing, from scratch menu, featuring both classic and modern pastas; hand cut steaks from USDA Certified Premium Hereford Heritage 1881 Beef; New Zealand Lamb Chops; USDA Certified Prime Veal; and the freshest seafood available, flown in from around the world throughout the week. In addition, Quality Foods Market offers a curated wine list with selections from all over the world, and an unrivaled craft and imported beer selection. Executive Chef Christopher Houp takes the time to interact with each and every guest throughout the dining experience, taking the Chef's Table concept to a whole new level. Tables are limited, with just 16 seats inside, and an additional 16 seats for al fresco dining. Our guests are treated to a true Italian dining experience, as we allow a minimum of three hours between reservations.

Join us for lunch at Quality Foods Market beginning March 5th! Our wood-fired Pizza Napoletana menu will be available both in our dining room and on our patio. Our last seating for lunch will be at 2:30pm. *We encourage all of our dining room guests to bring a light sweater or jacket as we do keep the temperature down due to our extensive wine selection. A+ from start to finish. The caviar service was a nice surprise and a great way to start the meal. For decades, if veal osso buco was on the menu, I've ordered it, and the special was osso buco, and it was by far the best I've ever had. The meat fell off the bone, and the sauce was amazing.

We are huge fans of Quality Foods and last night was no exception. Chef Chris posted on the QFM Facebook page that the special was Osso Buco for two, prompting me to immediately book a reservation. The Osso Buco came with two house salads (the best anywhere, in my opinion) and saffron risotto. It was fork tender and extremely flavorful. Luckily, I didn’t have to fight my husband for the bone marrow as it was delectable. Chef Chris recommended a wonderful bottle of wine to accompany our meal that was not only perfect, but extremely reasonable. Our love for QFM has not diminished…it’s still one of the best kept secrets in the Tampa Bay Area.

We made reservations specifically to try the ribeye. There were lots of reviews about how good it was and we had just been disappointed the weekend before at a new local steakhouse that didn't live up to the hype. We've eaten here before but always had pasta, and being honest, the price of the steak scared us off in the past. But we decided to give it a try and it blew us away. It's fine dining steakhouse expensive, but the steak is better than any fine dining steakhouse in the area. It's a heritage cut and Chef Chris will tell you the whole story about how the beef got here from Europe and the stringent processes put in place to get it certified by the USDA. We also went all out and had it topped with foie gras butter. This was one of the most expensive steaks we've ever had, and it was worth every penny. We can't do it all the time, but for those couple of meals a year where we super splurge, we'll be having them here and have already got our anniversary and birthdays reserved.

Absolutely the best! How Quality Foods Market does not have a Michelin star is baffling. We've been to Michelin star restaurant Rocca in Tampa four times, and Quality Foods Market now five times. Rocca doesn't hold a candle to Quality Foods Market. It's not even been a close race. Rocca is good but over hyped and inconsistent. Quality Foods Market is great and has delivered a perfect experience each time, and it's so much more intimate. It may not have a conventional name for an Italian restaurant, but it does tell you everything you need to know about the food served. You can taste the quality. For an amazing Italian dinner and overall restaurant experience, I highly recommend Quality Foods Market.

Hands down, the best steak in town. We finally tried the 24 oz Hereford Heritage ribeye with the truffle butter. Paired with the baby artichokes and fabulous wine recommended by Chef Chris - one of our favorite evenings at Quality Foods. We had a 6:15 reservation and were the last ones to leave last night - it’s nice to slow down, enjoy a great meal and chat with Chef Chris, his lovely wife Emily and the friendly staff. What a neighborhood gem.

We enjoyed 3 different pizza's on our first visit with Quality Foods Market. The crusts were delicious. The fillings equally impressive. We would like to return at some point for dinner.

Pizza is BACK!! I am so excited! I brought a friend here to try the pizza and it is better than ever! They don't give you slices. You get a whole pie, roughly a bit bigger than a Pizza Hut Personal pan pizza. They don't offer carryout (not a problem for me since I ate the whole thing anyway) and everything from the dough to the cheese is fresh and either imported from Italy itself or locally sourced from Chef's own garden. I got the Americana pizza with pepperoni and it was just delicious and surprisingly easy to eat with a knife and fork. We opted to sit on the patio and even though it was kind of a warm day, we were quite cool and relaxed with the fans going and beautiful classical music playing. You HAVE to give them a try!

Another outstanding meal at Quality Foods Market. Chef Chris' new gnocchi special was off the charts fantastic! We did a coursed meal with blue mussels, salads, gnocchi, and the best ribeye anywhere in Tampa Bay. The service was outstanding as it always is and Chef Chris was the most gracious host. We try a new wine varietal almost every time we are there, and tonight did not disappoint. Chef Chris introduced us to a grape called Lagrein and the wine was from northern Italy. It was so good we took a bottle home. We love this place and recommend it to everyone.
