Quality Italian est une interprétation moderne de la Steakhouse italo-américaine. Dined at Quality Italian with large group (6) after having experiences at Quality Bistro (great) and Quality Meats (very good). Came away with a mostly good impression. Most of the food was good to very good - black truffle cacio e pepe though had too much oil, the service was very good as well, with a few notes - table had wobble that we had to point out (after waiting 20 min "to make sure table was ready"), table side service was unannounced, and when I asking for water after glasses were dry for awhile - was given a "it's coming my friend" response. Overall service was good to very good on technicals, but missing a little warmth/specialness you're hoping for in the age of 20% grat. Was hoping to impress a couple of out of town guests, and looking for a home run - got a solid double instead. 3.5 out of 5 for us.

This was a restaurant I had been wanting to try and looked forward to going to but will honestly never go back… The atmosphere here was nice. It was a bit crowded and loud but expected for NY… we were seated next to a couple with 3 very young children who were loud, screaming, and making a huge mess. The parents did absolutely nothing to control them. The husband picked up one of the daughters and hit my friend in the head with her foot. The poor wait staff took about 15 minutes while we were still eating to sweep and clean up their table. There was such a mess they had to pick food out of the creases in the booth. If I were the manager I would’ve politely asked them to leave for disturbing the other guests. The food was okay… came out cold and honestly was not what I had expected in terms of “quality”. I will say the service was excellent and our server was attentive and the other wait staff were on top of making sure our drinks were refilled and tables were cleared off. Overall just a disappointing experience for how much it costs $$ though. I would prefer to spend that kind of money at a higher end steak house.

Solid as always. We book pretty often. I wish the front of house team would start to notice that, make notes of preferences and attempt to value loyalty a bit more.

We had a family Thanksgiving dinner at Quality Italian that was outstanding.

We LOVED our dinner last night, Thanksgiving. The food was great, the service terrific (didn't get her name, but a swell Latina was our server). And we had a New York experience. A middle aged couple was celebrating her birthday so they had a chocolate cake. They only wanted a slice or two, so they gave it to the mother & son from Santa Fe next to us. They had to rush to a show, so they gave it to us. We only wanted a slide, too, so we shared it with a young lady and grandmother (who was having a birthday with sherbet and a candle!). So the cake pleased FOUR tables at your restaurant! This has happened to us several times now, usually in NYC, but also in Florence and Rome! Thanks for a great evening. John-Charles Kelly

We had a fantastic experience. Ordered cocktails, a bottle of wine and a wide array of food recommended by our servers. Everything was excellent. I’d say our favorite drink was the Home Alone holiday cocktail and the pasta that lobster in it. The marshmallow dessert was delicious; a perfect way to end the meal.

Our Thanksgiving dinner was amazing thanks to the outstanding service and food. Our waiter was great and the restaurant manager came by to make sure our dinner was going well. Everything was top notch and we will be back again! Thank you!!!
