Le Quartino est un restaurant et bar à vin italien fruit de la création d'Hugo Ralli, de Steve Lombardo (propriétaires du Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse, du Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House et du LUXBAR) et du chef exécutif/partenaire John Coletta. Le Quartino combine le meilleur de l'osteria et de l'enoteca d'Italie afin d'offrir une expérience authentique de nourriture et de vins italiens. « Là où le vin est moins cher que l'eau »... En Europe, que ce soit au bistro, à l'osteria ou à l'enoteca, les vins locaux de haute qualité et dotés de caractéristiques uniques sont vendus moins chers que l'eau en bouteille. Les demandes de réservation pour une table sur la terrasse ne sont pas acceptées. La terrasse fonctionne selon le principe du « premier arrivé, premier servi ».

Wine and food were great. Our server, Nikolas, was on top of everything the whole night and such a joy! In order of recommendation, we got the Caesar, Chicken Parm, Sausage Pizza, and Gnocchi!

They were very busy with the St. Patrick’s Day holiday. There was bread and cutlery all over the floor that the servers just pushed aside with their feet as they were walking by. It was very busy so they were running out of water glasses and bar ware. The waiter said they were not prepared for the volume. They worked very hard, I am just not sure why they continued to seat patrons. We had a reservation, but maybe they should have not accommodated so many walk-ins if they did not have the capacity.

It was St. Patrick’s Day so the restaurant was crowded. We had to wait even though we had reservations. The food came out at different times and the one dish came out almost 40 minutes past the first dish. The server got a little annoyed us.

The pappardelle had no taste. The tortellini Alfredo came cold which caused the Alfredo to be so thick and not appetizing. Moreover the service was terrible - had to ask other servers to find our server 2 separate times. The olives were good? But overall - total disappointment.

Hand made pasta was excellent. We had a large party and service with Georgia was spectacular!! Georgia is the best. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food and our server Clifton were both excellent. I will definitely come here again when I come back to Chicago.
