Queen Street, Galway's new Gastro bar located in the corner of Eyre Square within the Victoria Hotel. Our bar offers delicious food, an impressive selection of cocktails, beers, wine and spirits with a wonderful atmosphere to ensure all your needs are catered for.

At Queen Street, we take pride in our freshly prepared dishes cooked to order. This commitment ensures that every customer experiences QueenStreet at its very best.

Lunch is served from 12.00 to 16.00 and Dinner is served from 16.00 to 20.45 throughout the week and on bank holidays. Our bar service is also available after this time, serving until late.

Food was great very tasty and warm. Cocktails were delicious. is actually quite cold in the restaurant,this would be my third time here and two out of those three times I was cold. It wouldn’t stop me from coming back again love the food drink an atmosphere.

Had a booking but tables weren't even setup. Very dead atmosphere and extremely slow service even though the place was almost empty.

Food was very good. However sadly service was very poor. When we arrived the restaurant was relatively busy. However, we waited over an hour for our food, by which time most people had long eaten or even left, so it wasn’t that staff were very busy. No comment about the delay or apology. Anything we needed we asked for- I.e no one approached us to see if we needed drinks whilst waiting, or any condiments when the food arrived. Desert wasn’t offered, but we wouldn’t have been willing to wait anyway. Such a shame, as the food was great when it came.

Food was outstanding, but our food arrived before our drinks which was a little bit disappointing. We had near finished our meal by the time our food arrived

Lovely meal but there should be baby changing facilities in all restaurants. I asked about an accessible toilet when I had the buggy and I was told there was none.

Food was great. Anyone working was really friendly. Quite understaffed though. From reading other reviews it’s not a once off.

Gorgeous dining area love the colour scheme. Food was great reasonably priced. Great location and great service staff were lovely and the manager gave us a treat for my friends birthday. Would recommend!!

Beautiful Gastro Bar right in the city centre but without the hustle and bustle. Very spacious and relaxing so you can enjoy your lunch without being bothered by other tables around you. Love the decor. Very reasonably priced lunch menu with a good selection to choose from. Food was fresh and tasty and served in a timely manner. Great service

The services was unbelievable poor for a restaurant that is open a good while in Galway city. From the minute we arrived we had to repeatedly look for service. 30 mins after arriving I had to ask the head waiter for a jug of water as we still had not received any of the drinks we had ordered. Food order was taken after 40 mins. Starters and mains courses ( soup and burger for one of our diners) all arrived at the same time at 8:20. This was an hour and 20 mins after we had arrived. Staff were annoyed with us that we did not want all the food at the same time and even told us to “calm down” . When the bill arrived we were charged for three bottles of wine instead of three glasses. From start to finish it was a shambles!

Unfortunately I hadn’t read the reviews prior to our booking, now looking at other reviews, I can see a large number of guests had the same poor experience as us. Food was very underwhelming. Cocktails were very lovely but service was shocking and considering the place was empty on Sunday night it didn’t really make any sense. Unfortunately I would not recommend and will not be back
