At Quetzal, we celebrate regional Mexican cuisine, inspired by traditional flavours and cooking styles, all cooked over a 28 foot-long open fire that runs the span of the hot line.  Traditional moles, sauces and little-known native ingredients are transported to Toronto and infused with the bounty of local Ontario and Canadian produce, for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Quetzal is located at the corner of College & Bathurst, at the edges of four Toronto hotspot neighbourhoods: Little Italy, Kensington Market, Harbord Village, and the Annex.

    My friend and I dined there for the first time last night and it was the best restaurant experience I’ve had in years!!! We got the curated menu and we were blown away by every dish. They also have an amazing team. Everyone was very sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable when we asked questions about the dishes. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Thank for such an unforgettable experience Quetzal!!

    The restaurant is very cosy and the service was great. The food was the real star, especially the Garlic Butter Scallops and Empanada. Would definitely come back!

    The food is outstanding and so is the service. This is our second time dining at Quetzal and it was just as good. This is such a great spot in Toronto.

    Sat at the bar given difficulty getting a table. Service and friendliness of the bartender was excellent. Went with the chefs choice menu and no regrets. Will visit again!

    I am not vastly experienced in eating at starred restaurants! Quetzal was bigger than I had imagined and had a very young clientele-but this added to the buzz. A vibrant atmosphere! Our table of four went for the tasting menu and beverage flight (i wondered why it said ‘beverage’ and then got wine, sake, cider and tequila). The thing that most impressed me was the server customising our tasting menu to some individual choices and cutting out any dislikes………..it was an awful lot of food! The drinks kept coming as well! No detail needed-suffice to say every dish was amazing. The bill was well in line for what we got. Loved it start to finish-thank you Quetzal!

    Amazing experience at the chef table. The cooks, sommelier, waiters, chef are amazing and want to share their passion Very different restaurant with proper character and interest of cooking food in a different way. First time that I try a Michelin star restaurant in Toronto that actually worth the star.
