   Theo is the best waiter, attentive but not pushy and brilliantly friendly and knowledgeable. Don't sit downstairs, the air freshener is so overpowering and ruins the wine. Upstairs is great. The only thing that wasn't good was one of the toilets was in a really bad state, they really should check it more regularly. Kudos to Theo.

   We had a 5.30 booking and we arrived a little early. At 6.15 we were told that we only had half an hour left at the table. The bill was brought at 6.45 and we paid and felt obliged to leave. We informed a member of staff that we thought we should at least have been able to keep the table till 7pm as per the booking. We left and, as a local,went to a bar we know and love, and will not return to Quill. Such a shame.

   Hi Sonya Thank you for visiting us and your feedback is very valuable to me. Being a very busy bar in central London, we allow each table (up to 4 people) 90 minutes for their booking which is stated on the booking form on both Open Table and through our website. We do our absolute best to allow people the longest time possible on our tables but often we are fully booked which means we can only give the pre stated allotted time. I was working this evening and I just went back to check your booking and your party left the table at 7:09 which then delayed the next table being able to be seated, the reason we drop the bill 15 minutes before the end of your booking is to try ensure a smooth transition.    Very nice wine bar situated close to Borough Market. Excellent selection of wines by the glass and good food options. The chips were huge - one to share! Service was good, however we were reminded on multiple occasions (upon greeting and 3 times during dining!) that we needed to return our table by 7pm, which meant our experience felt rushed.

   Didn’t enjoy this place, the drinks weren’t great and were very overpriced. We didn’t get told the kitchen had shut until we had ordered a drink. Ambience was strange, very cramped feeling bar with really quiet music. Staff were fine!

   The staff at quill were amazing. Nothing too much trouble. However the forgot one of our four orders but still had it on the bill…. And there was mould on the bread. All very quickly rectified but not great at £50 a head for 2 drinks each and some nibbles. But can’t say enough how great the staff were

   A lovely evening. The food and drinks were great but the service was really exceptional. Especially Aine who was sending around the notes.

   Such a beautiful spot with great ambience. The food was not the best but not that we were expecting more since all the place is more dedicated to drinks. Overall fantastic experience!! Definitely recommend
