Quince is an upscale casual, indoor/outdoor restaurant where all demographics and generations come together and enjoy a dining experience beyond normal expectations. People may initially visit for the terraces with exceptional views, but the food and the overall “Quince Experience” is what keeps them coming back. The "crave-worthy" and "global collective" menus & the team’s attentive and personal service are mixed with carefully-curated happy tunes which altogether create a positive-energy experience rarely found in a restaurant. This was our first and probably last visit. When I made the reservation I thought I reserved a table inside but we were sat in the seating area closest to the water. It was so loud we couldn’t carry on a conversation. The music was too loud for the room. Service was spotty and our food was very slow to come out. The spicy tuna roll had no flavor and the bao buns were hard like concrete. The hummus with short rib was excellent and a size able portion. The server was kind to not charge for the bao.

We arrive here on our reservation time. I like that’s it’s quite. The server was very good I wanted the steak and egg (medium well) but she said order it on medium so it’s not dry so I went with it, don’t regret it I loved it. My girl ordered her French toast and she told me to give it a 5 star and recommend it. My baby got the fruits and I tasted all the fruit that’s in it. They picked the very good ones. My husband food was great too. The hostess was very welcoming. He is a handsome guy but I didn’t see his name. Anyways all the crew was very nice, knowledgeable and hospitable. I have a baby and a 8 year old so they made sure we have the right seat for both of my kids. Food was served hot and presentable. I have been to restaurants all over Texas but this is the Only place that has this kind of crew. I loved my 1st time here. We will definitely come back.

Seated 25 min after reservation, another 20 minutes to be acknowledged, a couple folks tried to help us out but was clear no one had been assigned as our server. 15 min after drinks to be offered to order. Encouraged not to place main course yet as kitchen was overloaded. Steak was well done and ordered medium rare. Kids meal came with two nuggets. So what was good? The ambiance, the oysters, the raw bar. 2.5 hours, $295 for 2 adults and a kid (with 3 drinks total ordered)- wouldn’t return

Had an early reservation at 5:30pm and once sat, we waited 20 minutes with not a single person stopping by our table to give even a drop of water. There were at least two tables that were seated near us after we had been sat who got served, but no one seemed to notice or care that we had been seated and not served for the duration that we did. One server stopped by and tried to deliver fries that someone had ordered and once we responded that we hadn't even had our drink orders taken yet, they said they would get our server. We waited another 10 minutes after that and decided to leave when no one else came by. The menu is very overpriced with what looks like very cliche and basic menu items so once the service didn't seem to match minimal expectations, we were overjoyed to leave.

First of all, a beautiful restaurant. So if you are looking for a nice place for a special event or just meet friends, this is what Austin was to me when I first came here 33 years ago. You are sitting on a lake enjoying the scenery and weather, in a major city. We sat on the deck, but even inside is beautiful. Service was pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed the food but the rest of my party were a little tougher saying the food was okay. But they were just comparing it to top restaurant food, which maybe you expect in a beautiful restaurant, but also said it was an enjoyabe experience. From experience, getting great food on the lake is rare. Quince has an assortment of food which may hurt it slightly (don't expect the sushi to be Uchi quality) but we ate family style and enjoyed the variety. Overall my guests and I would recommend.

Delicious meal with wonderful oysters and the corn ribs were also amazing! The service was a little slow even though the place didn’t seem too busy.

Nice enough views but everything else was middle of the road. We arrived for our res but needed to wait 15 minutes while they flipped from brunch to afternoon service - No big deal. We were then seated at a nice enough table but asked to be moved outside where they had lots of tables open. However we were told they couldn’t for whatever reason. During our whole time there not one outside table was filled and they could have easily sat us there. We know because our inside table sat overlooking outside. Service at the inside table from Khalid was nice, friendly and prompt. Food was pretty good but not sure if justified the price tag. Ordered micheladas but were served glasses of tomato juice and two pints which was a bit strange. Tables are also very loud and make a lot of noise based on material and things setting down on them. Overall - this place is okay but given the cost and the overall vibe, feels like more for the instagram crowd than any real substance. I won’t be rushing back except maybe with out of town guests. But then I’d rather just take them to Mozarts.

A below average bar and grill posing as an upscale restaurant. Unrefined and overpriced. Do not recommend. - seated to a wobbly table that we had to ask to be balanced to start our meal - waiter was inexperienced. Didn’t know half of the items on the menu - drinks were sicky sweet with no alcohol - tiradito was not fresh, tuna gave grocery store quality - runner arrives at our table with a tray of food for 3 different tables. Spends 30 seconds trying to read the tickets, then plops the tiradito on our table saying “and whatever this little piece of meat is for you”… should I eat this!? - French fries were not even good, cold and stale like they’d been fried earlier that day - vibe was off - TVs playing basketball like it’s a sports bar, radio pop music playing, and then they want you to throw $50+ at a steak? It doesn’t add up…

The food is incredible and the restaurant location is absolutely gorgeous - perfect place to take someone visiting Austin because of the view on the lake, the selection of food and cocktails! We went on a cold night , thinking the temps wouldnt be a problem, but it was very cold so it took our atmosphere down a notch. We ate fast. Springtime should be wonderful there! The noise level was interesting -there were mixed sounds from the speakers and the keyboard player - We do love Quince. We just hit an off night I think
