   This was by far one of my favorites in Austin - the salad reminded me of one I had in Big Sur nearly a decade ago - with arugula, melon, prosciutto paired with a suggested wine and a combo rice bowl of chicken beef and shrimp. This is at the top of my list. The view was great, and it wasn’t too packed / with a heater that kept us warm.

   We have been to Quince quite a couple of times already. We used to absolutely love it. Unfortunately the service has declined a lot. Only a handful of employees are absolutely amazing. I forgot their names but there are two very sweet and friendly Turkish women there. They are very professional and loved on our little one. We always pick the steak and eggs and it used to be so delicious. Unfortunately the last two times were not the greatest anymore. Especially our recent visits food quality was not the greatest. Nobody really enjoyed their dish. Also it was the first time that we chose a coffee latte but they didn’t bring a Latte but more of a coffee with milk. I noticed during my last visit, that the mimosas aren’t made with bottled sparkling wine anymore but rather out of the tab and the taste is nothing like a mimosa with bottled sparkling wine. I think this was our last visit since we were overall very disappointed.

   everything was ok. nothing special, nothing terrible. just very average. I remember our first visit as much better so this felt rather underwhelming. experience is inconsistent. we did sit in a different area: this time surrounded by larger parties. it was very loud, televisions showing flow TV and atmosphere lacked. thankfully we had somewhat of a decent view. all our food came at once, starters and mains. nothing to rush back to.

   my wife and I went not knowing what to expect by some of the other reviews we saw, but were unbelievably surprised by not only the atmosphere the service and the food, but just by the overall experience. if you are lucky enough to have Kevin as your server, listen to his advice, he knows what he’s talking about. He let us the right way regarding food and drink, and everyone was incredibly attentive during a busy night. can’t recommend going there enough!

   We alway have a Fun time and the restaurant is always clean. The music is entertaining and the food is always tastes excellent. The sushi and oysters are always fresh.

   The location was great. I was hoping for an experience that aligned with the great location. It was a cool afternoon, and they say us on the outside patio. None of the nearby heaters were working. Why they say us outside was strange, given that it was a 1pm reservation and the place was quite empty. Service was not top notch and the food was OK.

    Let me preface this by saying I have never left a review anywhere. My problem was with the service. I’m a server and my experience dining was far from good. The server couldn’t even introduce himself and didn’t check on us at all. Didn’t drop off our food. Or even check us out. The restaurant was practically empty aswell so being busy wasn’t an excuse. I work in this industry and I definitely believe in working for your tip. The young lady who dropped off our food looked like she did not wanna be there and did not say a word at our table, no smile, no “enjoy your meal” nothing. As a server it’s important to make sure guests feel welcome and taken care of and we did not feel that at all. Food was mediocre. I would o my advise to Come here for the ambiance and drinks not the food or service.
