Quince is an upscale casual, indoor/outdoor restaurant where all demographics and generations come together and enjoy a dining experience beyond normal expectations. People may initially visit for the terraces with exceptional views, but the food and the overall “Quince Experience” is what keeps them coming back. We arrive here on our reservation time. I like that’s it’s quite. The server was very good I wanted the steak and egg (medium well) but she said order it on medium so it’s not dry so I went with it, don’t regret it I loved it. My girl ordered her French toast and she told me to give it a 5 star and recommend it. My baby got the fruits and I tasted all the fruit that’s in it. They picked the very good ones. My husband food was great too. The hostess was very welcoming. He is a handsome guy but I didn’t see his name. Anyways all the crew was very nice, knowledgeable and hospitable. I have a baby and a 8 year old so they made sure we have the right seat for both of my kids. Food was served hot and presentable. I have been to restaurants all over Texas but this is the Only place that has this kind of crew. I loved my 1st time here. We will definitely come back.

Seated 25 min after reservation, another 20 minutes to be acknowledged, a couple folks tried to help us out but was clear no one had been assigned as our server. 15 min after drinks to be offered to order. Encouraged not to place main course yet as kitchen was overloaded. Steak was well done and ordered medium rare. Kids meal came with two nuggets. So what was good? The ambiance, the oysters, the raw bar. 2.5 hours, $295 for 2 adults and a kid (with 3 drinks total ordered)- wouldn’t return

Delicious meal with wonderful oysters and the corn ribs were also amazing! The service was a little slow even though the place didn’t seem too busy.

Nice enough views but everything else was middle of the road. We arrived for our res but needed to wait 15 minutes while they flipped from brunch to afternoon service - No big deal. We were then seated at a nice enough table but asked to be moved outside where they had lots of tables open. However we were told they couldn’t for whatever reason. During our whole time there not one outside table was filled and they could have easily sat us there. We know because our inside table sat overlooking outside. Service at the inside table from Khalid was nice, friendly and prompt. Food was pretty good but not sure if justified the price tag. Ordered micheladas but were served glasses of tomato juice and two pints which was a bit strange. Tables are also very loud and make a lot of noise based on material and things setting down on them. Overall - this place is okay but given the cost and the overall vibe, feels like more for the instagram crowd than any real substance. I won’t be rushing back except maybe with out of town guests. But then I’d rather just take them to Mozarts.

A below average bar and grill posing as an upscale restaurant. Unrefined and overpriced. Do not recommend. - seated to a wobbly table that we had to ask to be balanced to start our meal - waiter was inexperienced. Didn’t know half of the items on the menu - drinks were sicky sweet with no alcohol - tiradito was not fresh, tuna gave grocery store quality - runner arrives at our table with a tray of food for 3 different tables. Spends 30 seconds trying to read the tickets, then plops the tiradito on our table saying “and whatever this little piece of meat is for you”… should I eat this!? - French fries were not even good, cold and stale like they’d been fried earlier that day - vibe was off - TVs playing basketball like it’s a sports bar, radio pop music playing, and then they want you to throw $50+ at a steak? It doesn’t add up…

The food is incredible and the restaurant location is absolutely gorgeous - perfect place to take someone visiting Austin because of the view on the lake, the selection of food and cocktails! We went on a cold night , thinking the temps wouldnt be a problem, but it was very cold so it took our atmosphere down a notch. We ate fast. Springtime should be wonderful there! The noise level was interesting -there were mixed sounds from the speakers and the keyboard player - We do love Quince. We just hit an off night I think

The food was great but the service gets worst every time we go there. We stood at the host stand while 1 host walked away and the other was too busy to acknowledge us, so I walked in and found our group. Three of them had been there for 10 minutes without ANYONE offering them a cup of water. It took another 10 minutes before I could get anybody’s attention and he was not “OUR” server but was able to help. The rest was just ok because having to flag down servers for 2 hours is just NOT a good experience

We booked a reservation 3 weeks in advance for my daughters 16th bday. We wanted the 2nd floor with the Lakeside view. We did not get that. Our first impression walking in was to a gentleman, clearly frustrated and barking orders to the host that tables were not set up for parties that were arriving . instead of helping, he sits on the couch and plays on his phone. Our reservations were supposed to be 8pm, we were seated 30 mins later than our scheduled time. When we were finally escorted to our seats, my daughter sat in a wet chair and soaked her bday dress . We waited another 30 mins to receive water and another 20 mins to be asked what we wanted to order for a drink. When we were finally able to order food, the items we ordered were not available. Needless to say, the service was subpar. The bathrooms were utterly disgusting, There was water & toilet paper all over the floors, the sinks were so nasty, I leaned up to wash my hands and my dress was soaked. I couldn't put my purse down to wash my hands because the sinks were so filthy & soaked. Probably one of the top most unsanitary restrooms i have experienced in what is supposed to be an upscale restaurant. We asked for a manager 3 times, never showed up. The recommended sushi items we received were good and the view from outside was nice, wish we had that. All in all, a waste of money and time for such a beautiful venue. We will not be going back .

Every time we have gone, we want to like Quince due to the location on the water, but each time we have come, the service seems to be getting worse instead of better. On this last time, we were seated inside rather than outside as our reservation was made and we were given a table in the corner without a view. It took almost 30 minutes for a waiter to come to bring water, and once he did, he didn't offer to take any further drink or food requests. We had to track down another waiter to order drinks and an appetizer. We again had to find the waiter to track him down to order our entrees, and remind him to bring our drinks we ordered. After three attempts of finding out waiter, our drinks finally arrived after our entrees. The entrees arrived all at different times so we weren't eating together as a group. Eventually, we had to track down the waiter to even pay the bill. It was not a relaxing dinner and felt that we couldn't enjoy each other's company since we were constantly trying to find someone to provide service to our table.
