Service was a bit slow, but meals came out fast and hot. I got shrimp fajitas. YUM!

We went in for our reservation & only 3-4 tables had people at them, the rest of the tables were all covered in dishes. It took 15 minutes to get waters, then 2 out of the 3 glasses were completely cracked & leaking. Our waitress was being chased down by other guests so they could pay & leave. Needless to say we didn’t stay for the food- many signs pointing to disorganization/short staffed

I grew up in the Southwest and have eaten Mexican, Tex-Mex, and Southwestern cuisine from just about every kind of establishment from taco stands to 5-star, famous chef-owned restaurants. I found the food at R&R just so-so. It can't compare to most of the moderately priced places in towns like Houston, Dallas, and Santa Fe and it doesn't come close to the best of the places where I have dined.

Went here with a +1 and ordered food and drinks based on the happy hour menu but were instead overcharged on everything! I would recommend the food but they don’t honor their pricing in store. This is 3 blocks from my office but they are now a hard pass...

Table for 4 only had 3 chairs and they couldn’t find a fourth! We had reservations! I sat on a weird bench seat thing that was 4 inches lower than the regular chairs. The food took 50 minutes to arrive. They got three of four entrees wrong: taco salad requested beef (got chicken), chile relleno requested beef (got cheese), one entree requested no sour cream (it was covered with it). We couldn’t send it back because it was so slow we were running late for the concert. Noisy and hot inside. Worst dining experience in 20 years.

I have been to the R&R in Elkridge and it's great, so I was really disappointed in this place. It took us forever to get seated (with a reservation), forever to get greeted, forever to get our drinks (three of which were sodas). We waited about an hour for tacos. TACOS! They charged for chips and salsa! Once we got our food it tasted good, so there is that I guess. We won't be returning.

R&R is having a hard time transitioning from a gas station and mall food court operations to a real restaurant. Our server did a commendable job for being stuck in an overcrowded section alone. They get a lot of mileage out of the Food Network appearance and I think they have over done it with a downtown restaurant.

Food was excellent! Seating (big white benches) are very uncomfortable. They are way too low for table. Overall I would definitely recommend because the food was delicious. But the dining room design is odd and the chairs really don't work for dining.
