Welcome to The Rancho Santa Fe Bistro located in the heart of the beautiful downtown Rancho Santa Fe, CA. Our unique bistro offers an amazing menu and a superior wine selection for any lunch or dinner occasion. For lunch walk-ins are welcome.
Owner / Chef Mozy Jahanguiri, who has run restaurants in Chicago, Minneapolis, and Dallas, has opened The Rancho Santa Fe Bistro in the space formerly occupied by The Pantry on Paseo Delicias. Mozy has prepared a menu that offers a wide variety of healthy and stylish fresh grill and more offering a balanced approach to food and wine along with bistro favorites including Oysters Rockefeller, traditional escargots, baked brie with grapes and honey and more for starters. Entrees to satisfy any taste of carefully sourced meats, seafood and much more. Be sure to check out Bistro's beautiful wood wine cellar, housing an extensive collection that spans an impressive 100 years (1897-1997) at a variety of price points.

Our entrees arrived dry…not nearly as moist and flavorful as same entree servings in past visits That said, love the outdoor seating ambiance

What a find in the middle of Rancho Santa Fe! All the decorative lights on, quaint wood framed windows, protected patio out front- we chose a corner table inside, cozy crates of wine and poinsettias piled around, soft conversations from the tables, the gentle maîtred, the comforting waitress. What an ambiance. The Norwegian salmon and New York steak were special. Extensive wine menu. We loved the experience !

Review for Rancho Santa Fe Bistro Rancho Santa Fe Bistro never disappoints! The food is consistently amazing, and this visit was no exception. We usually sit on the patio, which we absolutely love, but this time we decided to sit inside for a change. It was just as charming and cozy, offering a wonderful ambiance. We brought friends along this time, and they were equally impressed. One of the highlights of this bistro is its specials—they’re not just good; they’re exceptional! In fact, we’ve found that the specials often outshine the regular menu, which is saying a lot. The lamb special was cooked to perfection, and the black cod was absolutely divine. To top it all off, the service was impeccable, as always. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making your dining experience memorable. Rancho Santa Fe Bistro continues to be one of our go-to spots for a perfect meal. Highly recommend!
