   Delicious dinner at Ray's tonight with family. All of our food was delicious. But something gave me the impression that they were looking for ways to increase the bill at every juncture. So here are a few observations. 1. Due to one of the members of our party being elderly and weak, we needed to drop him very bear the front door. This was almost impossible as the valet attendants had it mostly blocked and without a tip were close to unwilling to move. 2. No one in our party were drinkers, and instead of asking of we wished to hear about the drink and wine specials, we were given an extensive speech about these offerings almost immediately upon being seated. I would kindly request that it not be a mandatory part of a server's job to have to recite the drink specials. You never know who is at your table. And while no one in our party has issues with alcohol, to force this presentation on all guests could easily trigger or offend some. For us, it was simply a bit intrusive as we would have rather been speaking to each other. 3. Even the bread is with cost. Yes, more and more restaurants are charging, and the breads here are in fact worth a modest price. But when you consider the pricing of the rest of the menu, then for peat's sake, give your customers some delicious bread with no charge. In summary, these are fine tuning points. Would I return? Yes, when I am not caring what the price is. But you do need to be prepared to shell out a pretty penny when dining at Ray's.

   From valet parking, to amazing servers, fabulous menu options that deliver in taste coupled with beautiful scenery; the whole experience is one that makes me wanna come back for more.

   My husband and myself celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary Mar 17, 2025 at Ray's On The River, Sandy Springs location, and it was fabulous. Waitress Abby was the best, and the Food was amazing. I orderes the Delmonico and hubby got the New York Strip, and it was delicious, also got shared baked potatoe and asparagus, OMG. But what blew us both away was the cocktail I ordered which was First Light 17. It came to the table Smokin literally, (Dry Ice) It was the coolest drink I've ever seen, and delicious. Will make it at home fo sho ;) Will probably come back way b4 our next anniversary, Oh almost 4got the other best thing, the Calamari, off the chain, we had so much fun, but next time, hubby needs to get his own drink ;) not sharing that again.

   Very nice view. Clean and upscale. Jeremy was nice server. Definitely get the spicy calamari and shrimp and walk around for photos!

   Great view. Great ambience. Great cocktails. The service started out strong with 2 servers. As the experience went on responsiveness slowed. One order of the salmon burger was great and so was the French toast foster. Two entrees of the chip biscuit were salty and acidic.

    A favorite for more than 15 years. This visit was sorely lacking. Great hostess experience but after that, very slow and inattentive table service.
