We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem Good was exquisite. Friendly and efficient service. Will be returning!

We requested to be moved from the table we were initially taken to..it was too cramped,crowded and noisy. The table we ended up dining at was near the window and somewhere drafty and cold. If we ever eat here again we will reserve a booth. The wait staff was very professional but the wait time for our food was slightly longer than we anticipated. The garlic knots were delicious. The two entrees we ordered were a mixed bag,the chicken parmigiana was very good. The chicken Marsala was very bland with no marsala taste at all.more like a brown gravy than a marsala sauce. Very disappointing because the presentation was excellent. No salad served only bread and entree.portion size was not skimpy but not generous either. Prices were not bad. all in all ,not too impressed but not totally put off. Prices were about what we expected.

A must try with great food and service. South Meriden is very fortunate to have a restaurant like this.

Staff were welcoming, pleasant and very efficient. Even though we enjoyed the food, my wife’s Chicken Francaise would have been better had she had a choice of pasta. Just an observation. My Shrimp Fra Diavolo was delicious. The sauce could have been a little thicker, but as it was not on the menu i was very happy to get it at all. Overall an excellent meal, topped off with a complementary Lemon Creme Broulle. We’ll be back.

5:30 reservation, bar packed, dining room 3 - 4 tables full. Great waitstaff, very attentive, had eggplant parm, plenty of pasta, sauce thick and tasty, fried eggplant patties very good. Ceasar salad very good, croutons not like rocks, plenty of salad for two.

First time at this restaurant. Also they are recently opened. Building is old and needs 'deep cleaning' and updating. Maybe they should have fixed the place up before opening! Food - Not to my liking! The sauce/gravy killed the taste of the pasta and the rest of the dish! Smothering a pasta dish with sauce doesn't make it better! Calamari - blah! The bruschetta had no taste at all and the topping was tasteless. The wait staff were really great people! Finish cleaning the place up, update the dining rooms. And then invest in a 'great' chef that knows how to cook 'Italien!

Fabulous service by an extremely sociable staff . The prices are reasonable and the menu includes many choices. The food is really delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere and decor is lovely. I can’t wait to go back!

We love eating at the red fox in Middletown and we’re so pleased to see they opened this eatery in Meriden. It’s always a treat to experience their delicious food and yummy cocktails! Definitely will be returning!
