   Looks like this restaurant may be closing soon. No beer on tap. Only Coors light in bottles. No more sushi. Limited wine by the glass options. No more wagyu. Although our waitress was very nice, she seemed a better fit for a diner than a fine dining establishment. The popovers were cold, gummy and we had to wait until after our apps for them. Three of us got steak and or burger and all were way undercooked. Something is going seriously wrong at this restaurant.

   Off and on local regulars due to irregular quality of the food. Want the place to be good, but will likely take off the rotation. Our 2nd NYE, first year one 2 years ago was great - this one, average this way overpriced. The take out for Thanksgiving is very good and have been doing this for several years now. Lots of ups and downs - too much inconsistency for the price. Covid is over.

   Overall, the food and the aesthetics were great! However, the service from the time we walked in was sub par. What looked like the manager, was checking coats and did not acknowledge our presence or greet us upon walking to the hostess stand. While waiting for our table to be ready, we went to the bar, where we stood for at least 10 minutes to be acknowledged. There was an older man and a younger woman who swapped out at that time. The man bartending was only able to do one drink at a time and was easily flustered while serving. Then when closing the tab, I tried to call him to attention and spoke to him, to which I was ignored until he was ready to acknowledge the fact that I was speaking to him. Finally, at the table, the waitress was the only server and did not check up on us once after our main meal was served, and we ate lamb chops and steak with a butter knife. Although she was very nice overall. Unfortunately, it seemed like the entire staff was overwhelmed and short staffed for service on NYE, and although the food was excellent, a restaurant with a name and price point of such was surprising that service fell short.

   We enjoyed a delicious New Year’s Eve dinner. It was a price fixe menu and each course had wide range of selections that were expertly prepared. The only reason it’s not a five star review is because they were understaffed which led to some glitches in the service

   Overall this was an extremely disappointing experience. Wine ordered was not available, entree ordered was not available, dessert ordered was not available. Steaks ordered were not cooked as requested. For the money spent to celebrate a special occasion with a party of 8, it was a let down.

   From start to finish, our evening at the Red Horse was nothing short of spectacular. The ambiance set the perfect tone for a night to remember—charming, cozy, and welcoming. Mike greeted us at the door with a warm smile and made sure every detail was taken care of throughout the night, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Our server, Nadine, was the epitome of attentive and friendly service. She made us feel right at home, offering thoughtful recommendations and keeping our glasses full without ever being intrusive. The highlight, though, was the food. Every dish was incredible, but the lobster bisque truly stood out as the best we’ve ever had—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Each bite was an indulgence. Thank you, Red Horse for making this a night we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to return!

   Unfortunately our stay was not up to par . The table we sat at in the alcove was absolutely freezing . The food was soso wedding quality . Food arrived cold . Alcove was co sold we had to wear coats during dinner . The man that seated us said oh the building is old hence lack of heat. Bathrooms had no hot running water . We will never again come here .

    The service was horrific tonight on Christmas Day. We sat at our table for an entire hour before bread /popovers was served. The appetizers, entree, and dessert each took about an hour to bring out. They forgot my husband's dessert, we ultimately took it to go. The bill was also wrong. The food was delicious but it wasn't worth it. The entire family was exhausted at the end since it took nearly 4 hours to have dinner. If you can't handle a busy Christmas Day, why even bother? For the prices this restaurant charges, service should be impeccable.
