    Food nothing special very bland and a bit overpriced for what you get , one thing that did stand out is the place needs a very good clean

    Service and staff were really nice. The outdoor area is tired and worn. Food (Sunday roast) wasn't great, seemed it was warmed up and not fresh. It wasn't very hot, just warm. Not sure I would eat here again.

    Red Lion is always very good, food, service staff. Just wish they would stop smokers going out of the fire exit as the children never close the door and the parents don’t care so never pull them

    Traditional pub, friendly welcoming and helpful staff. Good value food offers, well presented and tasty, sampled dinner and Sunday Lunch, no complaints. Convenient for Travelodge, just a couple of minutes walk.

    We arrived here at the correct time for our reservation after confirming the booking both via the app and text from red lion also after being given choice of dining either festive menu or normal we chose normal To be told when we went to the bar to order there was no food available! Ruined our Christmas Eve because that was the whole point and too late then to get anywhere else Beyond disappointed !

    Was mid week, so quite... service good, didn't feel rushed. Staff helpful and friendly, good selection of food.. food hot and tasty. Will be going back. Dog friendly!!

    Won’t be returning table dirty, chairs stuck together with tape and food was awful both myself and my husband had upset stomachs when we got home. Very disappointed
