    Saturday nights are difficult to get in, even with having an open table time. Red Lobster uses it like call ahead seating. It got us in a bit sooner, but probably waited a good 20-25 mins from the time we had gotten with open table. We're well aware that if you don't go early or later to these busy places you are most likely going to wait, even with using open table. I heard one person come in and say they tried Texas Roadhouse 1st and it was 1½ hr wait. They came over to Red Lobster and were told 40-50min wait without an open table spot.

    We did the dine ahead but it didn’t move us up the wait list. It was still 30 mins past our dine ahead time and we got there early. Our food took an hour and 10 mins to come after at least 30 mins for the appetizer. Our server Rahr ? was very kind and pleasant but he was at the mercy of a terrible kitchen. The grilled scallops were not fresh and were burnt. The store manager didn’t even come to our table to apologize but approved a slight discount for the inedible scallops. We won’t be going there again and will share our experience with all we know.

    Lee’s Summit location… would not expect an Independence location to be superior at anything, but service at LS not good, food was old and cold, over charged three times and still not completely right. Lack of servers had a nearly empty restaurant having 30-45 minute wait times.

    if you are going for all you can eat shrimp you might want to call ahead and make sure they are not of certain kinds, when we went they were out of the hand breaded (the walts) the most popular kind they sell.

    I put our name on the Priority list through Open Table. We waited more than 45 min. For a table. People come in after us seated before we did. I don’t think they give any priority to names on the list. They aren’t able to seat all tables because they can’t find enough help. Been disappointed the last two times we were there. Food is ok but don’t enjoy so much because of the way they handle seating.

    We arrived 15 minutes earlier than our reservation time. But we weren't seated till 15 minutes after our reservation time. We didn't receive water at our table until about 30 minutes after being seated. The salad arrived 20 minutes after seating. Then the biscuits and meal arrived at the same time. At least 10 minutes after our food arrived, we finally got some water. Our server was very apologetic and said something about taking $10 off the bill but we didn't get it. Felt bad for her. Probably not all her fault. Someone else was supposed to check on water for guests. We most likely will not dine there again. They showed poor attention to detail.

    Much better than a couple years ago. Server was good and friendly and food tasty. Only suggestion is when wiping down tables, clean seats too. Enjoyed our experience.

    This location just needs to close. Nobody is working there and the few that are — are crying (literally). Nobody was getting what they ordered, the manager felt the need to argue about it instead of just recognizing the disaster and supporting her small staff. Even customers picking up curbside orders came back in to complain about missing food .

    We had to wait a long time to be seated even though we had preferred seating through Open Table. We had to wait another 45 minutes after arriving. After being seated, all service took longer than expected. They didn’t have much staff.
