Restaurant sur deux étages offrant une fine cuisine décontractée (ainsi qu'une terrasse extérieure), le Red Pony est clairement devenue la destination favorite pour une expérience gastronomique sur l'historique Main Street à Franklin. Les chefs Jason McConnell et Carl Schultheis se sont associés pour créer un menu convivial et varié utilisant uniquement les produits les plus frais cultivés localement, les viandes et les fruits de mer. Les deux chefs qui ont travaillé ensemble pendant six ans allient leurs styles et techniques culinaires pour créer de nouveaux produits à tous les jours. Élu "Meilleur nouveau restaurant en 2006" par le magazine Southern Exposure, le menu du Red Pony est sacré comme «habile dans sa simplicité et intriguant dans sa mondanité».

Always a pleasure to dine here. We love this place. We eat here every time we are in Franklin. This was our first date and we try to come back at least once a year since we got married

We have been to The Red Pony several times before. This experience was just average. The food was good but not outstanding as in the past, and certainly not what you expect for the price. The waitstaff had "specific" jobs, and when you asked let's say for more water when you food was being delivered, they replied I will get your waiter to come by to give you more water. This took an additional 10 minutes for our waiter to arrive back at our table. Not very efficient nor is the type of service you'd expect for fine dining. Overall just meh!

Our experience was simply magical. Our servers, John and Jennifer, went above and beyond to make our night special. John had a deep rich knowledge of the restaurant’s history and explained each dish in great detail to help guide us in our culinary adventure. Every single dish, sauce, and drink brought out was absolutely amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our Anniversary. WE WILL BE BACK!

Our waiter was awesome. Food was fabulous. No pressure to eat and get out. Overall great place.

Six of us dined here before a theater production. Our waiter was kind, our food was good. The ambience was pleasing. Everything was quite expedient. No complaints, only compliments.

Everything was perfect from the moment we sat down. Cocktails were perfectly balanced, the food was delicious, the service was spot on, and the restaurant ambiance was great!

My wife and I live in Franklin and the restaurant is close by. We were very disappointed in our experience. My wife’s selection was so salty. She could not eat it. My choice was average. I had made my reservation via OpenTable : asked if we were celebrating any event And in fact we were. It was my wife’s birthday. I don’t know why this question is asked because there is no recognition of such. That’s OK, but would be so easy to at least say happy birthday. But that did not occur. Bread is not served with the entrées And it should be given the pricing structure but halfway through the meal we asked for bread and of course, the only option is a bread appetizer, which is a lot of bread. But it didn’t show up until we had finished our dinner. We told the waiter we were not interested in having the bread since it came after we had finished the meal. This did not seem to be of any concern. The overall atmosphere of a warm and friendly customer service culture just did not exist. So disappointed.
