   Food was mid, I wanted to love it… but it wasn’t anything special. Cornbread was amazing, fried chicken wasn’t seasoned… service was average. Mac and cheese was really good. Beautiful restaurant with great vibe and people. Also good location.

   This was my first visit to Red Rooster and the entire experience was amazing! The food was INCREDIBLE-we took suggestions from our server because we just couldn’t decide-best decision ever!!! Definitely recommend the chicken and the cornbread is a must have!! The band was great and although we sat near them, it wasn’t so loud that we couldn’t speak to each other-definitely added to the whole experience! I was also impressed with the servers-I think we had 3 different ones stopping by to check in with us and it was easy to see that they all just wanted to make sure our dinner was perfect! I really can’t say enough about this place—HIGHLY recommend and we can’t wait to go back!!

   Food and service on point … The last time I was in New York City was 2019…. We ate at the Red Rooster!!!! The food and service was excellent then and their food quality remains consistent !!!! I love that about this place …. I will definitely return …. Collard greens , crab cake and jerk salmon was my favorite 😋

   My only disappointment: We ordered the chicken tower The chicken was mostly breast legs and thigh fried very dark brown and dry it definitely wasn’t cooked to order taste and looked refried. The sides were delish. The ambiance and service was excellent. Question did the entertainment come around to collect tips: not a good look!

   A lively place , with delicious food and drinks and live music. Portions are big and we way over ordered, but everything was great. Only slight disappointment was the catfish which was surrounded by a sea of beans that were a bit too much. Fabulous service! They did not kick us out when we realized that we were the last ones there! Very generous!
