Located in the heart of Overtown, Red Rooster serves comfort food celebrating the roots of American cuisine and the diverse culinary traditions of the neighborhood. At Red Rooster, we want to share the story of Overtown with our guests, and offer a platform to celebrate local artists, musicians and culinary talents.                                                     All very nice. The person delivering our orders seemed clueless as to whom to deliver them, and we did have to find silverware for our added dishes.

                                                    They were out of several items on an already somewhat small menu. Lamb entree and a yam side dish, specifically—neither difficult to source. And parking is an issue—$16 to park in the public lot next door—and they don’t answer the phone to offer parking suggestions.
