Good for special occasions

Key West seafood restaurant in the heart of old town on Petronia. The menu is kept small so that everything is nice and fresh for you. Yellowtail snapper, fish of the day, Key West pink shrimp, and seafood medley highlight the menu.
Deviled Eggs topped with Scallops, Shrimp Mango Toast and Crispy Pork Belly Croustinis tantalize the pallet. Beef stroganoff made with certified black angus beef is a favorite.

Relaxing, unpretentious, and romantic.
Seating is very limited.
24 Hour Cancellation window.
For the consideration of our guests, we do not accept parties over the size of six (6).
We offer a 6 pm and an 8 pm seating.

Absolutely amazing! I had the special. Black grouper. It just might have been the best fish dish I have ever had! My wife's yellowtail snapper with parmesan risotto was equally as good. Our server was delightful. The owner, John, is very engaging and spends time will all his guests. Great vibe and intimate setting. Top of our charts for must do restaurants in Key West. We will be back. Cheers!

Amazing interpretations of classic dishes: from a simple take on a fresh caprese salad, to beef stroganoff, to their signature yellowtail and seafood fare, The Redshoe offers a relaxed retro-pop culture dining experience executed to perfection! If you have a 6pm reservation, get there at 6, not before. Don't unlock doors until then. Leave you outside and bring you in party by party. Could be a mess if raining although a small canopy would give some protection. Service and server were excellent. At first it seemed a bit like getting served at a wedding/banquet because everything starts at the same time. As the evening wore on that feeling subsided. Had a bottle of Quilt knowing it wouldn't be a perfect pairing with everything but it's a wine we really enjoy. We split a grilled Caesar which was excellent. Bypassed the apps because we wanted dessert. Server said house specialties were the yellowtail and the beef stroganoff so we went with them. Not a typical stroganoff in a good way. The meat was very tender. the yellowtail and topping were excellent. Shared the lavender cheesecake for dessert. It did not disappoint. Would return if we get back to Key West and maybe try some appys next time.

Thank you for dining with us, Bonnie! I appreciate the feedback...we will work on food quality control and we are always happy to replace an item if it is brought to our attention. I apologize if you felt rushed. We have two seatings; one at 6 pm and one at 8 pm. We feel that two hours in an ample amount of time to experience a 3-course meal with us. Please give us another try at our 8 pm seating...diners can stay longer than two hours for that seating. Have a wonderful day!
