   We LOVE Red Shoe! It has become our favorite restaurant on the island. The food will knock your socks off. The service matches the extraordinary food. Each server is personal and so very helpful. When we flew into town for this annual trip, Red Shoe was our first stop for dinner. John, our server, was superb. Do book in advance — the word is out! We are going back on Thursday.

   Our entrees were great…beef stroganoff, yellowtail snapper and spicy pepper shrimp. Caeser salad was “unique” with two small grilled romaine wedges topped with toasted Parmesan…definitely not what we expected. The “bread” was a tiny baguette slice with a dollop of seasoned cream cheese. The lavender cheesecake was delicious! Overall we enjoyed our entrees but we felt our dinner was a bit overpriced.

   We visited the Red Shoe Island Bistro to celebrate our anniversary. Small restaurant with an intimate setting. Our meal was the best food we have experienced in Key West. We enjoyed the stuffed shrimp as an appetizer and the beef stroganoff and bacon-wrapped chicken as our entrees. We selected lavender cheesecake and a chocolate torte for dessert. Everything was delicious and the service was perfection! We will definitely be visiting again!

   One of several KW restaurants we go to annually. RSIB has 2 seatings each night and an incredible menu to suit a wide variety of tastes. Serving only wine and beer you’ll find something to pair with your meal. Service is outstanding.

   We enjoyed our meal, the service, and the overall vibe of this restaurant. It's a well-oiled machine, from the warm welcome at the initial seating, to the knowledge and advice of the waiter, to the tasty and well-prepared food. We shared the beef stroganoff, the scallops, and a starter salad, with coffee to end the meal.

   Waiter introduced himself and offered the kitchen prepared dishes from scratch. We explained wife allergic to entire Onion family, but we then learned all sauces had onion. Worst part, when all entrees were brought to the table, he brought the wrong one for me. By the time the correct dish was served everyone else was finished. I had it boxed. Beware: parties of 6 or more the gratuity of 20% is automatically added. Our waiter did not deserve 20%! Our experience did not meet their #1 ranking

   Although our goal is to make everyone happy, unfortunately sometimes we fall short.ALL our sauces ARE made-from-scratch.Our chef spends many hours, daily to create the delicious flavors.Due to the depth of our sauces, they ARE NOT made-to-order.Moving forward, please list your wife’s allergy in the notes section, when booking.This would have alerted us & would have given us time to contact you, prior to your arrival.We apologize for the mistaken food order & that’s why we comped your meal (seafood medley).A 20% gratuity charge for parties of 6 is clearly posted in our restaurant profile on OpenTable.This is a standard procedure.I am sorry for your bad experience.Based on manager’s feedback, the other 5 people in your party thoroughly enjoyed themselves.Have a wonderful day & safe travels!

   Sebastian was an excellent server. Very attentive but not overbearing. I never order chicken when I’m out but knew that it was new to the menu so I thought I’d try it. It was the best!!! My friend had the stuffed pepper. It was “out of this world delicious!” Every time we are in KW…this restaurant is a must! Thank you Suzy and your entire crew! Kudos to the chef!

   We had a wonderful dining experience while celebrating my wife's birthday! The food was excellent, and the service was attentive. We started with the Shrimp Mango Toast, and it was delicious. We then had the Pear and Blueberry Goat Cheese salad as we anticipated the main event. My wife had the Yellowtail Snapper and I had the Beef Stroganoff. Our waiter said they are the two most popular dishes and they did not disappoint. We concluded the evening with their wonderful Key Lime Pie (made even better because they made it complimentary for my wife's birthday!) This was the best meal we had on the Island this week. We highly recommend Red Shoe Island Bistro!
