Over crowded which slowed down service; someone passed out in the kitchen (hope they’re ok), the live band sang two songs and left; and we weren’t seated for over an hour. Food was good per usual, but I’ll stick to brunch or other earlier times/days because it was too much going on to enjoy like we usually do.

My husband and some friends of ours dined in on Saturday night. This was our 1st time coming and we all were looking forward to eating some good food and hearing some good music. Corey, I think is her name was our server. I appreciate her pleasant attitude but I was very unhappy with the food and attitude of the manager. I had a gut feeling things were going to go left when we weren't given any silverware. When we asked for a fork, we were told the dishwasher wasn't working and handed a plastic fork. My husband had the lamb, chops, collard greens, and mashed potatoes. The collard greens were ice cold. The mashed potatoes were bland. It tastes like box potatoes. My friend had some type of loaded baked potato and it was rock hard. They just piled veggies and meat on top of it. It was very disappointing. We waited patiently for our food just for some of it to come out cold. Corey did take the food back to the kitchen but no one wanted to wait or try anything else at this point. The manager was informed, however, he took a bit to come to our table to address the issue. When I did explain to him what happened he stated, I'm aware and I have 5 other issues to deal with 1st. Note taken I will never visit this establishment again. Attitude and approach make a big difference

The staff were prompt, professional, and helpful with special requests. The food was delicious as usual and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Music here is way too loud. Multiple tables around us were also complaining and no one cared. One waitress agreed but said the DJ didn’t wanna turn it down. You have to tell across the table. Each meal arrived to the table separately. So we all ate at different times but ordered together? They forgot to bring grits to our table and still wanted to charge us. The grits arrived way after we ate but was told it’ll be 5 mins initially. This place needs to take customer service and get their kitchen staff on one accord.

The ambience is nice. Every jersey pays homage to a local or state school or team. The starters (fried salmon and the boom boom shrimp) were very tasty hits. The Buffalo Chicken Mac-n-Cheese was a salty miss. Unfortunately, the Mac-n-cheese had too much sauce and it completely overpowered the taste of the chicken, macaroni and cheese). My husband had the Pot Roast Melt (tender, flavorful, lots of grilled onions in “meat to onion” ratio. I had the seafood omelette (completely overcooked, dry, hard to swallow without water to wash it down). Be careful when you close you check. We were given the check of another party and had to bring this to the servers attention.
