One person in our party ordered the shrimp gnocchi. The gnocchi arrived at our table and was terribly undercooked. It was hard and not at all palatable. The server took it back to the kitchen to get it replaced. After everyone at our table was finished eating, the replacement meal arrived. It was okay, however we decided to just get it to go. The point is, no one from management came to our table to explain what happened or offer even a complimentary dessert or drink for the total inconvenience. We were not looking for anything for nothing, but it would have been nice if the gesture would have presented itself. We will not return.

Disappointing. If you’re offering $18 cocktails and $20 burgers you might want to offer service at a level higher than a fast food restaurant! Food was meh - service practically non-existent. My daughter’s burger and mine were cooked just alike despite ordering mine medium and hers well done. Drinks were good - would have had a second if I could have gotten our server’s attention. This was on the patio at 6pm on a Wednesday. Not busy. The three servers I saw should have been able to easily handled the six tables that were occupied. Have been pulling for this place but not sure I’m up for giving them another try - this was rough.

Unpleasantly surprised… with the description of “refined dining upstairs” I definitely expected a certain level of service and quality. The first thing our server told us was that the soup is terrible “only one old lady liked it and I don’t think she had taste buds”… seriously? We ordered the lobster corndogs- they were the best out of everything. I had tuna au poivre and it just tasted like peppercorns, no other flavor. Tasted like frozen tuna that was still mostly cold. My husband had the short ribs and they were better but lacking in flavor and cold… Disappointed for sure.

In a word, excellent restaurant for dinner or for lunch. The refined seating choice provided a calming view of the ocean. Our waiter, Michael, was truly a pleasure. Informative, courteous and a terrific sense of humor. The food was delicious, the presentation was excellent and we could not have been more happy with the dinner. We were too full to try dessert even though tempted. Very good wine selection really enhanced the dinner. Highly recommend to anyone.
