Founded in 1928, Reid's is North Carolina's neighborhood specialty food store offering superior meats, wines, locally grown produce, seasonal fresh meals to a very loyal customer base. The South Park restaurant accommodates Deli Style service for lunch Monday-Saturday and Restaurant Menu service Tuesday-Friday night and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Reid's is always a lot of fun, and the food is excellent. The past couple of times that we've been, the live music is so loud that you can't hear the table conversations. He's a very talented performer, but it would be nice to reduce the volume a bit. It would be great background music.

We had a lovely brunch at Reid’s last weekend. Lots of good choices on the menu and the food came hot and well prepared. It’s a great place to meet up with friends and family or for a couple to enjoy with or without kids.

I totally loved this place. The food was excellent (yum... that potato salad!). My server was excellent as well. She answered every question and request so politely! I loved the attached market too! I will have to go back and buy some food from there.

We had great salads for lunch. I had best Cobb ever. lots of good choices.

My wife’s hamburger was well done instead of medium, and my brisket sandwich was extremely dried out and chewy. If we had had time we would have sent the food back and waited on replacements, but we did not have that time. Very disappointed in the establishment and probably won’t eat a meal there ever again.

This was our second outing to Reid's for brunch, and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. They have great ideas that they do not seem to execute very well on. This time, I had their lobster Benedict. The lobster was a tail split in half, and the entrails/intestines were not removed. Not appetizing at all. My wife got their brisket bowl, and she complained that the brisket, beans, and rice were not warm. We had dessert as well, and it was delicious.
