Absolute disgrace they confirmed twice we drove and hour and 45 minutes to find they were closed. Wasted our time and also we had not place to go for lunch could have booked elsewhere. Absolutely unacceptable to confirm twice and then to be closed

We stayed in the hotel and had dinner here. This is a hard review to write. The people and food were fantastic. However, the meal felt very rushed - which was odd as we were one of 4 diners at the restaurant. It certainly wasn't crowded, nor was it late in the evening (we were seated at 7:25) and we also had a 7:30 reservation. No sooner was the order taken - the food was out in minutes. The dinner wasn't leisurely and that was disappointing. I don't know if there were later reservations that they needed the table for. Regardless, we booked this restaurant for the ambiance and the views and I felt we really had no opportunity to enjoy them.

Walked 20 mins to this restaurant and they were closed. Tried to call and no answer. Please update your system if you’re closed so people don’t waste their time.

We were not staying at the hotel but booked reservations for the restaurant which turned out to be almost impossible to find and when we did we were underwhelmed with the experience. Food was good but we had better meals elsewhere.

The staff was incredibly attentive. The atmosphere was perfect. The food was great, as was the wine list. It is slightly more costly than some of your other Positano restaurants, but I thought it was worth it.

You can’t have dinner there because of the insects. The table, the chair, the stairs, the hallways were full of insects. And if you like scavengers hunt, it’s the best way to practice.. finding this restaurant. No signs how to find it..

If you are not staying at the Agave Hotel, I do not recommend eating here. If you are staying anywhere lower in Positano, this place is extremely hard to get to. If you do decide to go, I would suggest you set up transportation to get to the hotel which is located at the top of the hill in positano. As far as the food and service, it was good but not great. For being one of the most expensive restaurants in Positano, the drinks were just okay and the food was okay (compared to other spots we have been to in Italy and Positano). If you are staying at the hotel and want a great view and high-end dinner, I would recommend.

Amazing views & great service. Hard to find but definitely worth it. From the Main Street you need to walk down the steps and take a funicular (find the blue (funicular) elevator door and take it all the way down) then you walk through a gate (you have to ring the doorbell and they will unlock it.. keep walking down two sets of stairs and get to the elevator take that to -0, exit and walk down the hallway and then your at the restaurant..

They need to give a better description as how to get their if you aren’t a guest at the hotel. Opentable sends you to their hotel which is not accurate because this place is on the beach. You need to catch their water taxi at the Positano public pier in order to arrive the the beach club.
