Rene at Tlaquepaque is a fine dining experience in a beautiful shopping complex. We ate in the lounge/bar area, but the main dining room and outside are also great options. The food is spectacular! Tried the beet salad, lobster bisque and salmon - all prepared to perfection. Very creative cocktails and extensive wine list. Our server Josh was amazing! For a special occasion or to treat yourself, would definitely recommend.

Great food. Service could be better. The server we had that night tend to ignore you if you don't order a drink (e.g. wine, etc.) People have reasons why they opt to simply get water. Because they have to drive or because of medical conditions. However, to our server that night, we were treated as less than compared to the next table who ordered a bottle of wine. The server didn't even check if we needed more water. For fine dining and the price, I expected more. Great food though!

Our experience at Rene for my daughter’s birthday and New Year’s Eve was absolutely amazing!! Everything was top notch and spot on. We loved every part of our evening. Special thanks to our server Josh with his perfect attention balance!

Rene’s was excellent. Very expensive but it was our 20th anniversary so we went all out. Extremely romantic with fantastic cuisine and terrific service. I look very forward to going back on another special occasion.

Our experience was wonderful the food, the dining and the overall service was outstanding. We appreciated Jessica as our server as she insured our needs were taken care of and treated us very well. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and it was phenomenal.

A Memorable New Year’s Feast at René, Tlaquepaque My husband and I celebrated the New Year at René in Tlaquepaque, and it was an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the impeccable service made us feel warmly welcomed and cherished. We began our evening with delightful appetizers. The Grilled Noble Bread was perfectly toasted, enhanced with extra virgin olive oil, garlic, herbs, aged balsamic, olive tapenade, and fresh basil pesto. It was a flavorful introduction that set high expectations for the courses to come. Following this, the Hot Spanish Garlic Shrimp (Gambas Al Ajillo) impressed us with succulent white gulf shrimp in a zesty sauce of shaved garlic, Arbol chili, and sherry. The combination of flavors was vibrant and perfectly balanced. The highlight of my meal was the Salmon en Papillote. Baked to tender perfection in parchment paper, the salmon was infused with bright lemon, sweety drop peppers, capers, and fresh dill. The addition of mirepoix and sautéed spinach complemented the dish beautifully, making it the standout course of the evening. Equally excellent was my husband's Vanilla Braised Wagyu Beef Cheeks. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, paired with sweet cipollini onions, earthy sherry mushrooms, creamy mashed potatoes, and crispy leeks with fresh chives. This dish showcased René’s culinary artistry and dedication to quality. Throughout the night, the warm ambiance of René and the attentive, friendly staff ensured that our celebration was truly special. Every dish was crafted to perfection, and the seamless service made our New Year’s dinner a joyous and memorable occasion. If you’re looking to ring in the New Year with exceptional cuisine and outstanding service, René in Tlaquepaque is the perfect choice. My husband and I are already looking forward to our next visit!

We chose this restaurant because of the good reviews but unfortunately it leaves a lot to be desired. The hostess who received us named Francisco was very rude when receiving us. Being a good level restaurant, the cost in relation to the quality leaves much to be desired. When requesting a baby chair the waitress told us that all of them were occupied and there was only one baby in the entire restaurant. The only pleasant thing was the service and attention of the waitress Jessica, who was always friendly and tried to remedy everything in the best way.
