   Great experience! Bay Area family visiting Portland and who what of thought… chef and staff were incredible. Food was spot on and the stories along with pairings were exceptional to the experience. Can’t wait to share with others, we will definitely be back. Kudos to Republica, excellent.

   Dinner last night was a fabulous experience. We had the restaurant to ourselves for a 5:30 pm reservation. The service was over the top! The staff was incredibly well informed about the dishes served. Very unique flavors and beautiful presentations. Well done! 🥰

   A lovely night with the best service we’ve had ever. I mentioned in passing after a chili dish that I regretted not bringing tissues, and Alisa, the bartender, magically appeared in seconds with soft cocktail napkins. The ten courses (plus an amuse bouche) were well-timed and the perfect amount of food, beautifully presented. We all enjoyed the dessert but were too full for the little popped amaranth treat. Andres and his staff Liz and Elias(?) were informative and engaging. We enjoyed many delicious dishes, in particular the sturgeon. Having dined at Al Forno((Providence) and Bon Ami(Concord MA) there is a very high bar for 5 stars for food. I could definitely see coming back even with all the other places here to try.

   Republica was outstanding. We wanted a special experience for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. Excellent, interesting food was coupled with attentive service. Hope to go again sometime!
