Overlooking the Wisteria Courtyard at The Convent, Restaurant Eighty Eight at The Convent - Pokolbin serving Breakfast and High Tea in a more relaxed dining experience than Circa 1876, it strongly focuses on using organic produce that is ethical and sustainable with the vast majority sourced from the Estate’s nearby organic kitchen garden, chicken coop, bee hive and quail eggs from our onsite Japanese quails.

Our team has collaborated to create a menu that brings to life the flavours of the kitchen garden’s food and injects hints of country quirkiness!

Myself and 3 friends attended Restaurant Eighty Eight on a Sunday for high tea and it was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and professional, the food and drink was lovely and the venue/grounds were stunning!

The lady looking after us was very efficient and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Surrounding were beautiful and I would certainly recommend The Convent if someone was looking for a relaxing and beautiful place to eat. Plenty of delicious food was supplied for high tea.

It’s very nice place. But they charged too much. It was 60 to 70 dollars per person and We paid for 3 people and only got meal for 2 people. And the table next to me they were 4 people.they had double sized of food.We paid the same price. Won’t recommend this place.

High tea was very good, tasty and filling. We had great service and ambiance was perfect. Champagne served was delightful, and we finished with a great smooth creamy coffee. I could only suggest some soft melodic soft music in the background to blur or soften conversations from other tables as it was so quiet. And we couldn't leave without a walk around the gardens. Just beautiful.

The location is stunning. The high tea was very average, for $99 pp you would expect a much higher quality. Sandwiches had barely any feeling, cake selection underwhelming. Would not recommend.

Restaurant Eighty Eight was such a great experience. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was impeccable! Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely stunning! Definitely recommend the high tea here!
