The name of the restaurant comes from an old art’s workshop owned by a famous painter of the Gothic Barri at the end of the XIX ct.

A lovely traditional restaurant. I had the paella that a previous reviewer had described as inedible and whilst it wasn’t that it wasn’t great but the rest of the food and the service were excellent

Absolutely amazing experience, the food was phenomenal and the staff was very considerate not to rush anyone out.

The dining experience is as excellent. We opted for Tapas dishes and Sangria. Overall it is worth the price!

Our waitress didn't speak too much English, but we found it easy to communicate with her nevertheless. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable.

Sangria was great. Catalan sausage was good. Seafood paella was bordering on disgusting. I had to stop eating it. Service was great, but for as much as it cost, I could have had a much better meal elsewhere.

Excellent food and perhaps our best meal in Barcelona. The staff was engaging and helpful. The fried artichoke with honey is a must have as a tapas.
