   The food was excellent. The wait for the food was way too long. The manager said “our kitchen is very small”. Our waiter did an excellent job under difficult circumstances.

   Sat at the bar. Bar tender was awesome. Food was absolutely wonderful. Ambience was quiet and perfect. We will definitely return.

   This restaurant is a hidden gem! I got there a little earlier, but I was pleasantly welcomed and lead to the table. It is cozy inside. Christina, the server person, was sweet and kind, I had the empanadas and sea bass, which she said it was fresh and best. Sure enough, the fish was fluffy, seasoned perfectly, and mind you, it was HUGE. I was actually planning to indulge myself with mouth watering dessert, but I was too full, maybe next time!

   Kat and phil are fantastic - we had the sea bass and lamb- incredible - white chocolate tort was amazing 🤩 made our Valentine dinner unforgettable - 🥰

   We were seated at a table for 2 in the dining room with the bar. The table was in the traffic area of the wait staff between the two dining rooms, and it was constant motion. There were three other tables open, so we wondered why we were seated there. We asked to be moved and it was no problem. The ravioli entree for $30 seemed high priced for four ravioli. No bread available. We did enjoy the excellent service from Dash.

   Amazing experience! The bartenders were so nice and gave amazing service! Will define recommend this restaurant, and even though not a lot of people like the bar top, it was top notch!

   Forty Nine Forty has a respectable reputation, however, our experience was unsatisfactory. Seating is awkward due to the layout of the restaurant, which does not make for an ideal date environment. The $70 steak we ordered and asked to be cooked medium well was served very well done and burnt. We were seated there for two and a half hours because the main meal (the steak) took an hour to be served after. Additionally, service was slow and that added to the timeframe we were there. The worst part of our experience at this restaurant was when the male hostess brought us our check and said in a passive aggressive tone, “thank you ladies, I do have people waiting for this table.” What was most upsetting about that comment he made was we were seated there for so long because of the service. I had to restrain myself from confronting the hostess because it was very upsetting in the moment to receive that comment. I do not recommend this restaurant for the nice sit down dinner experience you’re looking for.

    We had a fantastic experience at our Valentine’s dinner. We enjoyed the sea bass and ravioli, both of which were delicious. The white chocolate tart was superb, and the service was exceptional. We also loved the cocktails and the perfectly paired wine with our meal. We can’t wait for our next dinner out and to try the new social hour!
