The ancient history of authentic Georgian cuisine has traveled through thousands of years and along the way has developed its deep, mouthwatering, and timeless flavors. The most well known dishes are simple yet smart. However, to experience the real heart of Caucasian food, the true explosion of luscious and extraordinary combinations of spices and hours of labor, you must dive deeper and explore with an open mind. Traditions carried down for generations and woven through the cultural tapestry of Georgian dance, folklore, and creativity unite to deliver a transcendent blend of flavor.

Good atmosphere, tasty food. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of dining at a Gamarjoba restaurant that transported us straight to the heart of Georgia. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a cozy evening. We started with Khinkali. Each dumpling was crafted with care, and the flavors were rich and satisfying. We also tried Imeretian cheese, a mild and creamy delight that paired wonderfully with the rest of our meal. To accompany our dishes, we enjoyed a bottle of Kindzmarauli, a traditional red Georgian wine with a fruity, slightly sweet taste that balanced well with the flavors of the food. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, helping us navigate the menu and making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. For anyone looking to explore authentic Georgian flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit. We left feeling not only full but also inspired by the wonderful Georgian culinary tradition.

Went for lunch. Food was really good. Its a little bit pricey but they discount everything by 15% for lunch. Lovely ambiance inside. Quiet at lunch but could see it might be loud when really busy. Would like to go back and try more things.

We were excited to have dinner here, especially with the high ratings this place has. Made reservations and requested to sit out in the patio just to find out it wasn't open that day due to maintenance when we arrived. There were no effort made on the restaurant to notify us that they couldn't satisfy our request given that the place was dead from when we arrived to when we left. That ambiance was okay, the main dining area had an soviet vibe, though the patio looked more updated and modern. For appetizer, we ordered the Eggplants with walnuts and Khinkali Kalakuri. For entrees, we got the Tolma in grape leaves, Ostri beef stew, and bread for the table. All of the dishes were extremely salty and can't really taste much of any other flavors except for the eggplants and bread. Service was subpar, especially when they automatically charge 15% gratuity to the bill regardless of the party size. I was a party of 2. We asked for the check and it took the server 20 minutes when there were only 3 other tables. They had 3 servers working that night so I don't know why the check took so long. Also, bring cash if you want to save some money since they charge you a fee to use your card. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be coming back.

I am not sure what this restaurant is getting their high ratings for… the food is mediocre and the service of staff is a level or two below of what you would expect to get in North America. Servers were not rude, but should definitely be well trained in customer service.

Four of us came for dinner on Sunday evening after seeing the restaurant listed as one of Craig LaBan's best restaurants of 2023 and reading his review from August. Some of what we had was excellent: the khajapuri, veal stew, napoleon, and sautéed mushrooms topped the list. The soups and grilled meats were quite good. The lamb stew was VERY salty, and the pickled vegetables were fine but nothing special. Be aware that the "lemonades" are bottled sodas. The atmosphere is fairly non-descript: plain tables, Ikea-style plates and glasses, with video screens throughout the "balcony" space where we sat. The videos of Georgia are spectacular and definitely make it look like a place you want to visit. The service was prompt and efficient. The majority of the patrons were speaking Russian (or perhaps Georgian), and some of the wait staff didn't speak English well, but we had no problems with communication. We all agreed that we would come back to try other things on the menu, particularly bakery items, dumplings, and other appetizers.

We found the food to be very good but the staff was overwhelmed and slow. They automatically charge 15% gratuity on the bill. I would not have given that much considering the poor service.
