   What a lovely experience. The restaurant is small, intimate, and the chefs and owners do their best to personalize the experience and interact with each diner. You can tell they are passionate about what they do. The food was excellent, of course, but I enjoyed the atmosphere just as much!

   Very impressive new style Korean food…. Seafood was fresh, love the special home made blood sausages…. The owner / and all chefs there are very proud of what they make… Easy and friendly environment, good vibe, good food and good ppl!

   Service - We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time. We and a few others were forced to wait outside the restaurant until the reservation time. The weather was cold and the heat lamp was not on to keep the patrons wam. We were seated at the worst table in the restaurant (next to the entrance) in our opinion. There was a better table that could fit four but the server sat a party of two at that table rather than us, a party of three while there were other tables for two available. Food - The ingredients were high quality but the amount of dishes and quantity do not justify the $84/person price tag. The food was good but not spectacular. Ambience - Nice setup and fairly quiet.

   The dinner was fantastic. I was looking for a reasonably priced tasting menu with lighter options, as tasting menus are often quite expensive and too filling. This one was just right. Every dish was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the beef cheek—it was tender and perfectly seasoned. I’d highly recommend it to my friends!

   The meat was inedible, with a very unpleasant taste and texture. The dessert was mediocre, and the first three courses were very good, though the sweet potato croquette was quite small.

   Fantastic experience, very nice and cosy ambience and we were lucly to get the corner table with window view. Food is served with clear description of what they are, unfortunately anchovy is not our personal favorite so that did not go too well for us though we can tell that it is really fresh. Great wine selection on the pairing, enjoyed the dining experience and we will come back again when the menu refreshes

   Glad we made it back. Nice small personal experience. Locally sourced food with a personal story of why it was chosen. Love it! We will definitely be back!

    Gish is such a hidden gem. Especially in light of Culinary Class Wars blowing up in Korean fine dining popularity. I remember coming here for the first time about 2-3 years ago and was very impressed that such a small team could run such a great operation. I feel like they've only improved since then. Their ability to coordinate different tables at different dining speeds has improved. It's so well executed. And the food, these are truly fine dining techniques and plating to provide you every bite at its optimal texture flavor and temperature. Unlike some other high end restaurants we've been to, they don't oversalt their food to give you that punch in the mouth and to make you purchase more beverages. They salt at a level to make you ponder each flavor that goes in, all while bringing it from a familiar base of Korean traditional dishes in a new format. I could go on, but I really love this place, and it makes me wonder why I'm not coming more often.
