Located in Darlinghurst, Restaurant Moon offers a unique, changing degustation menu aimed at reimagining Thai cuisine through avant-garde dishes that surprise the eyes and taste buds of guests.

Using European cooking techniques, Chef Aum shares his innovative take on Thai cuisine. Artfully presented degustation menus are crafted to surprise guests through flavour and presentation.

With the belief that cooking should have no boundaries, Restaurant Moon was created as a place to show innovation, change and surprise. To highlight food in a different light, Restaurant Moon focuses on transforming ingredients in unimaginable ways.

What an exceptional gem. Not a traditional Thai restaurant but a fantastic journey of taste and texture. The quality is exceptional and a credit to the chef. The meal is best described as asian fusion meets Michelin star restuaraunt quality and techniques. Definitely worth the visit.

Amazing atmosphere, incredible service and some of the best food i've had in a very long time. A must have is the oysters... DELICIOUS. Perfect for a first date, second date third date, you get my drift.

Excellent food overall. The steak could ask customers about their cooking preference, but otherwise a lot of thought went into preparing the components and the presentation!

Outstanding vegetarian degustation option, full of flavour and great ingredients. Would highly recommend to everyone, especially anyone that is tired of boring vegetarian degustation menus. I would rate this a 10/10

I love this restaurant so much. Literally, I brought all the people I love to this restaurant. The food is great, I like every dishes will bring me little surprise, the service and environment is also great. And is a nice place to have a walk around after finished dinner.

Dining at Restaurant Moon was truly a memorable experience! The presentation and reveal of each dish felt like a show in itself—creative, unexpected, and totally captivating. The food tasted just as amazing as it looked, with flavors that hit all the right notes. A special shoutout to our servers, Bee, Jackie, and Paepu, who elevated the evening with their vibrant energy and genuine excitement about every dish they brought out. Their enthusiasm was infectious and added a personal touch to an already fantastic meal. Would I recommend it? Absolutely!
