Good food and drinks are to be found at this nice staple of beautiful downtown Puerto Vallarta. Fine International menu, all nicely served alongside an appealing river view. There is a piano 🎹 here ! This good spot needs to commence a wonderful late - evening piano 🎹 bar🎵 !

We followed a recommendation to try this place, and it was absolutely wonderful. Our server victor was amazing. The quality of the food and the service we're both excellent. This is definitely on our list for a return visit.

Great food and great setting. Unfortunately, the music was too loud and not appropriate for this classy restaurant.

Wonderful from start to finish. A group of 10 the service was impeccable. Nice extra touches of an appetizer and Christmas drink were really appreciated. Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant.

From beginning to end, the service, food and experience was excellent! The setting is beautiful and every part of the service was exceptional. This was our first visit to Oscar’s but won’t be our last. We tried the lobster Mac n cheese and the filet. Both were so good. Highly recommend!!

I’m not sure what happened but we arrived for a 630pm reservation and we were the only ones there. That should have been a clue something was off. Our food was very average in taste however was over cooked. Almost as though it had been precooked the prior day and reheated for our order. We order Mahi Mahi and Chicken Breast for our entrees. Both were overcooked and dry. We had the Oscars ceviche as an appetizer and we did not feel great about eating it as the shrimp were in very large uncooked chunks as though it had just been prepared, with no time for the shrimp to marinate and essentially cook to an edible state with the lime juice. The only highlight of the meal were our cocktails. Both tasted well balanced however overpriced. We left at about 745 pm and still were the only customers. All in all, not a great experience.

Dined mid afternoon, just as happy hour was beginning. Excellent service, good food and great view. What else can you ask for?

We went to Oscar’s because it had things a friend of mine wanted to have before leaving Mexico. It was astonishingly quiet for a Saturday evening, but boy was it wonderful! The service was great, the food was spectacular, the drinks were interesting in a great way. There were so many wonderful things on the menu, we did a kind of Tapas thing and tried a lot. The total bill for 6 of us, with beverages and tip? $435.
