I’m not sure what happened but we arrived for a 630pm reservation and we were the only ones there. That should have been a clue something was off. Our food was very average in taste however was over cooked. Almost as though it had been precooked the prior day and reheated for our order. We order Mahi Mahi and Chicken Breast for our entrees. Both were overcooked and dry. We had the Oscars ceviche as an appetizer and we did not feel great about eating it as the shrimp were in very large uncooked chunks as though it had just been prepared, with no time for the shrimp to marinate and essentially cook to an edible state with the lime juice. The only highlight of the meal were our cocktails. Both tasted well balanced however overpriced. We left at about 745 pm and still were the only customers. All in all, not a great experience.

Dined mid afternoon, just as happy hour was beginning. Excellent service, good food and great view. What else can you ask for?

We went to Oscar’s because it had things a friend of mine wanted to have before leaving Mexico. It was astonishingly quiet for a Saturday evening, but boy was it wonderful! The service was great, the food was spectacular, the drinks were interesting in a great way. There were so many wonderful things on the menu, we did a kind of Tapas thing and tried a lot. The total bill for 6 of us, with beverages and tip? $435.

We loved our dining experience at Oscars. The ambience was terrific. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. We will definitely return. One of the best in Puerta Vallarta!

Beautiful setting and excellent service. Modesto was our table side bartender which added greatly to the experience. Provided excellent recommendations and customized each drink to our liking. First night in PV so we sampled a number of appetizers and dishes. Ribs, Catch of the day, Filet, Duck Enmoladas. All good. Favorite appetizers were the ceviche and Oscars Salad. They also brought out some bruschetta for the table and adapted the dish for our gluten free guests. Our waiter, Alfredo and his team, were attentive and personable. Alfredo even offered to take some family photos in the garden as the sun was setting. Muchas Gracias, Señor Fettuccini! Would definitely return again!

Excellent service. They provided a free chocolate cake with sparkler for my birthday. Had a very nice lunch.

Felt completely welcome and valued as a guest. Good was excellent. All of the suggestions were delicious. The lobster was superb. Will be coming back for sure!
