   The restaurant is just outside the old town away from the busy streets. The setting is pretty but dark and needed to use my phone torch to read the menu. The food was good but not special . Steak, fish and burgers on offer. Dessert menu minimal. It was fine but nothing to moan about but nothing to rave about either

   Hidden gem in Dubrovnik… it’s worth it we loved it service and food !

   We have just finished a lovely week in Dubrovnik and one of our favourite evenings was dinner at Sesame which we had been recommended to and it didn’t fail! Delicious food in lovely surroundings. Thank you and we will definitely be back!

   Couldn’t find a menu online so took a chance . Food was very expensive and small portions - though was really delicious . My son had 3 pieces of ravioli and ate pizza when we got back to our accommodation . Had a pianist which was a nice touch though my husband complained about the noise of the road .

   I’m sorry to say I experienced severe shellfish poisoning from the mussels or oysters I ate — 2 days to recover. Ambience was beautiful.

   The service was really bad. The day after we ate at a restaurant in the old town (from Michelin guide, 2024) rhe prices were the same but it was more tasteful and the service was so much better. We were Just ignored for the whole time. Sat with an empty glas for an hour.

   I had beef carpaccio which was good, this came with finely sliced beef rather than the more typical diced beef presentation. This was served with finely sliced white truffle, lightly pickled onions and shavings of gran padano. With the ingredients used it is quite difficult to go wrong, this was €25 for this. However the beef was so thinly sliced it barely felt present on the plate. For my main I had beef Ragu and gnocchi and I did enjoy this, the Ragu had mushrooms, more gran padano and parmesan tuilles which added texture and this was €29.50. All the prices of the food were at the higher end and to be honest it was very tasty. However I was tipped over the edge by being charged €15 for a rum and coke. The service was very good, nice ambience and I wasn't sure if the restaurant would seat me as a lone diner but I was in the end pretty glad they did.

    One of the most impressive burgers I have ever enjoyed….and I am a burger person. WARNING: come hungry.
